You are bidding on a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air with Black/Lemon Green two tone paint. The owner purchased it (used) in June of 1960 and has lived here in North Carolina with it for the last 50 years. The engine (283 cid) and transmission are original. It has new interior trim,a complete 1st class paint job, and new chrome. The brake system, including all hydraulic components (front and rear) and hoses, were replaced recently. New brake shoes were installed on the front. The existing rear brake shoes still have 90% of their life, so they were not replaced. The brakes are standard. This car was not equipped with air conditioning. It has a slight differential bearing noise (rear end). Please refer all questions to the owner of this vehicle (Tommy) at 336 788 6922. It is a 265 cid. Runs great. We have to correct an error in the color description: It is not lemon green. It is Crocus yellow as known by two ebay car collectors. We think it is a beautiful color with the Onyx black base color!!!!
