Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a Honda CB 750 K1 original bike with 7,910 miles. This bike is an early K1 and was built 12/70 and the ID # is cb750-1072710 and the motor number is 1072936. You will be the second registered owner due to the original Title which is in the original owners name and signed over and won't be an issue. The color was originally Candy Gold and was sent to the paint shop directly from the dealer for this exotic paint scheme which shows the 70's style. This bike is not restored but very original except for a few items like the battery, paint, etc. The tires might be original and due show some age cracking but I still ride it around with these tires. The signal light stems were changed due to the bike having a full fairing and saddle bags and a rack. Other than that, every nut, bolt, washer, etc. is original to this bike and has not been changed. I have owned it for 10 years and only ride it to keep it running. The chrome on this bike is not as nice as my other K1 for sale although most people think it looks great from 10 feet. The handle bars are nice chrome, the signal lights have some wear and knicks and the rims are nicked and the chrome shows some scratches and wear. The original HM300 pipes are extra nice with no pitting and have a small rust blister starting on the front of the left bottom muffler. The rest of the pipes look beautiful and sound great with no baffles. The bike runs strong with no unusual sounds and shifts well and drives nice. The center stand and the horn was off of it when I got it due to the full fairing but I have those items and the wiring is not cut. This bike has the original Honda stamped mirrors in good condition with some light pitting. The K1 has a lot of one year only items such as the seat design, the gauges with lights in them, 300 design pipes, etc. Also, K1 is the last year for the color painted headlight bucket, and fork ears. I am very picky and I will attempt to list all little defects in order to be honest and have you know what you are buying. The paint has some small scratches, and nicks on the head light from a fairing that was on it but it just adds to the patina. The side covers are not cracked and they have all of the posts for mounting. The tank has some scratching but no dents. The oil tank side cover has some blistering in the blue paint and shows some of the gold underneath. This must be from paint stripper I am guessing which happened before I received it. The frame on this bike has some surface rust in some spots which is normal. The rear fender has some light scartches but don't show in the pictures. The front fender has some small dents and very light scratching. The 2 rubber gaitors on the front forks broke and need replacing and are $60 for the pair at any Honda shop. If I was keeping the bike I would replace the gaitors and I have a guy that can paint the whole bike for $495. Some of my friends said that they would leave the paint due to its 70's look. As you can see in the pictures, the gauges have some slight fading but are not as bad as most that you see and I think it adds to the patina of the originality. It comes with the original tool kit and owners manual. If you have any questions, want to look at it in person, or need any additional pictures, please email me and I will respond quickly or you can call me at 440-725-8163 or send your phone # by email and I will call you. I will probably kick myself for 20 years for selling this bike but moving and downsizing causes the sale. Look at my other items for sale including another 750 K1 and some parts, along with a Datsun 240Z, and a BMW Z3. I also have a red origianl paint tank(one qauter size dent on top), fork ears, and headlight bucket (some nicks and scratches) if you are interested Please note my 100 % positive feedback. This bike must be picked up within 7 days from the end of auction and I can be available for shipping on this end but You will have to line it up and make it happen withinin 7 days from end of auction only. Good Luck bidding
