PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BOTTOM BEFORE FIRING OUT A QUESTION: Up for bids I have the "Ultimate Driving Machine", a 2000 BMW 740i Sport with the technology package. This vehicle had absolutely every option on it when purchased...This BMW has been a west coast car all of its life, never seen snow or inclement weather. The color combination is one of the rarest: Metallic Blue exterior on Tan interior. This 740i boasts on board navigation, on board computer, 16 speaker sound system with DSP and 6 CD changer, all power seating, front windshield with rain sensor, rear electric shade (up and down at the touch of a button), dual control AC, Xenon self leveling headlights, steering wheel controls etc. etc...The engine runs absolutely perfect with ample power and an upgraded Dinan Technology Chip for better MPG and Horsepower. The transmission shifts smooth in all gears and can be switched to manual for race like performance. The suspension is very tight with no unusual noises, the steering is tight. I have personally driven this car from Scottsdale, AZ to Los Angeles and it performed great! The V8 got an outstanding 23.5 MPG! in 100+ degree heat all the way to Los Angeles. There are no noticeable leaks, or signs of overheating. Very tight ride. The leather interior is very clean with no stains or rips. There is no smoke odor or any kind of pet hair. Never smoked in! The leather is in great shape for a 11 year old car...It's not perfect with some signs of discoloration here and there. Some discoloration on the hand rest in the center console. The carpeting is very clean and the original BMW mats are in Excellent shape. The passenger seat back rear storage compartment is loose (you can see it in one of the pictures). The front dash-storage compartment needs to be adjusted. When pulling on the lever it will not release. It has two adjustments on the L an R side. The only way I was able open it is to grab it from the back and slide it forward. The latch itself is functional and is not broken. The exterior of the car is shiny with the usual rock chips/pitting on the front nose and front bumper. There are minor scratches and dings on various parts of the body - but hardly noticeable. No Dents or Rust! There are several small dings on the rear trunk, I was unable to capture them in photos. They are only visible from a certain angle. I will say that a good detail (clay bar and buff) will remove most of the imperfections. Some of the exterior windshield moldings are cracked (weather related). The windows have the BMW shades(retractable) and are lightly tinted. All the electronics and electrics are in perfect shape. The Xenons fire bright and work as should. The sunroof opens and closes. The instrument cluster illumination is functional and has very few dead pixels (common issue in BMW), all the notifications are readable. The 740i has the M5 Wheels with brand new Z rated tires all around. In the last 6 months the following items were replaced: New tires, shocks, front rotors, brakes, AC service, upgraded BEHR Radiator (recall). The vehicle comes with all the manuals, one original FOB key and the updated set of BMW Navigation Maps (complete USA 2008) The car belongs to our VP of operations and has spent the last few years in his garage in Scottsdale AZ. The Scottsdale residence is a winter retreat and the car was used for Golf Outings. Autocheck usually gets these vehicle reports right, unfortunately this one came out backwards. The car has had 2 owners - the second owner taking ownership in 2002. Everytime our VP has moved and registered the car in a different State, the DMV issued a new title, hence showing it as a 6 owner car! He cannot figure out what the issue with the mileage may be other than a clerical mistake at some point. If you carefully inspect the Autocheck report, it shows that the miles were 113K and then 114k the SAME DAY! The miles are accurate and show no signs of tampering over the years as shown by autocheck. The car comes with a Clean and Clear AZ title and plates. The car is registered and current. There are no liens on the title. This car can be driven anywhere and I wouldn't hesitate to do it. You can have the vehicle inspected at any BMW dealership or mechanic of your choice, as long as it is within a 5 mile radius to me (Stevenson Ranch). You can test drive the car at any time, as long as you give me a 24 hr window. PLEASE READ: This car will be sold AS IS and WHERE IS, with no written or implied warranty or guarantees. It is a used car, I do my best to describe it. There may be other imperfections that I do not notice or feel that are worth mentioning. The only way to be sure of what you are buying, especially if you are picky, is to come and inspect it in person! A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is expected at the END of the auction via PayPal. Not the next day or week...If we do not receive the deposit, I reserve the right to terminate/void the transaction.
