Up for auction is my 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins diesel. It is a 24 valve with an automatic. Quad cab, long bed. It has 216,000 miles. It runs and drives great. It is loaded with options such as: power windows, door locks, seat with lumbar support, heated power mirrors, digital overhead console, premium factory stereo, etc. This truck is original in almost every way. It has never had any programmers, aftermarket performance modifications, or tow hitches installed. This has never been a work truck! It is very nice inside, outside, and mechanically. The body on this truck is super, super nice. The paint is great. This is an Arizona truck (no rust!). All the glass is good. The bed and tailgate are very nice. The bumpers are original and in great shape! This truck has never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch so no holes in the bed! There are nice chrome side steps installed on the truck and it has a very nice sprayed in bedliner. The front tires are brand new Michelins. The rear are matching and are still good. The interior is nice. No tears in the driver's seat. The power door locks don't work, but all other accesories work great. The AC blows ice cold. This truck has tons of factory options. The carpet is a stained, but may clean up with a shampooing, the rest is very nice. The center console lid is still like new. The drop down cup holder falls down if overloaded. This has never been a work truck so there are no greasy fingerprints in the headliner or on the door panels. The dash has some cracks like most Rams from this part of the country. The truck has a dash mat installed so out of sight, out of mind. Overall I think the interior is better than average for the year and mileage. Mechanically this truck is in super great condition. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts great. It has never been abused or modified in anyway. It is a second truck for me and I just don't use it. It does have a few drops of oil under after it is parked, but I have not spent anytime trying to track down the source. A lot of recent maintance has been done on this truck including; a reman. injection pump (within the past 1000 miles), a recent lift pump, brand new front tires (less than 1000 miles), brand new front brake calipers and pads, new batteries and a new rotor and hub assembly (all within the past 50 miles). Some people have concerns about the automatic transmissions in these trucks. This tranny shifts great. There are no signs of any problems at all. I have just ran this truck through emissions testing a couple of weeks ago and it passed fine. This truck really does run and drive great. I am selling this truck because it is a second truck for me and my wife and I need the money for a down payment on a house. It comes with a clean and clear Arizona title.
