I'm reluctantly selling my 1936 Ford Phaeton. This convertible is in fantastic shape - not restored for a museum but wonderful for driving and enjoying.It starts in all kinds of weather (just adjust the choke), drives extremely straight and is an absolute pleasure on those sunny days. My kids love the large back seat and to my wife's 'horror' the lack of seat belts, being stock. The car is as original as you could ask even retaining its mechanical brakes which means you could keep her the way she is or make whichever upgrades you desire. I've had the car for 3 years or so but was living overseas so I only got to enjoy it a few times - but those were great. Given the economic downturn I'm forced to sell so my loss is your gain. Ford produced 5,555 Phaetons in 1936Wheelbase, inches: 112.0 Weight, pounds:2,337Engine: V-8, 221.0 cid, 85hp. The only issues with the car are some paint flaking off of the radiator (see details in photos), a couple of light scratches (also in photos), the exhaust tip has a bit of rust (but I think you can just replace the tip if you want it perfect), a few missing bolts (?) and the front window seal could use replacing (not a big issue since it pivots).
