Vehicle Detail
1968 Kaiser M715 - Was converted to a Fire Department Brush truck, through this it has suffered some dents and dings however it was kept indoors so the engine and frame are well maintained and very solid. NO frame rot. The cab itself has some rust spots in a few areas - cab is quite good overall condition, floors are original and solid. I want to make a note that the interior is incomplete I was planning to use bedliner on the floors and repaint / customize the dash. There are some holes added for the sirens / lights that the FD had.tailgate is complete has a few dings but is solid. All in all a great project & usable truck for around the local area or potential to be an outdoorsmans beast. The engine is the original Tornado inline six cyl in running order (needs carb adjustment and a squirt of starter fluid.) The original 24V generator is still in place as well as a 12V Alternator as had been added by the Fire Dept for their Lights sirens etc that had been on the truck. Sirens were removed.) The PTO winch is included, it is a Braden... this is missing some pieces but could be rebuilt / fixed. I have many parts that I have accumulated and or bought / made. First off a brand new set of 5 (five) Michelin ZXL 38.5 inch tires on the OEM rims. Donaldson air cleaner original military equipment MADE FOR the 715 in USA. I purchaced yellow H4 housings (12v) these look great & add a little character. It DOES not have working brakes at the moment but I have NEW in box wheel Cylinders and a late 80s Grand Wagoneer Master Cyl (upgrade for the 715s) I have many parts to include. The biggest project to complete will be connecting the turn signals & headlights. The hardtop is removable. I am guessing anyone who would consider buying this has done some research so if there are any questions please message me and I can provide my Cell phone number. You will need to tow the vehicle / trailer to your location. Clean PA title in hand. PM Me for my cell # This is what it looked like when I first bought it. As you can see the brush frame and Fire dept fab items were removed in order to bring it back to it original form.
