1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Special Edition: Hello!!! Up for Auction is my 1981Turbo Trans Am PACE CAR!!!! 1 of only 2000 made!!!! Numbers matching engine and a very nice build sheet that came with car!!! 91,000 miles at appear to be original but not a guarantee. I have clean title in hand to go with car. . Auto trans. T-tops. . Car came from Oklahoma this past year! ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IS I AM MOVING AND WILL LOSE STORAGE AREA FOR THIS CAR!! All sheet metal is in excellent condition unless otherwise noted. All look great and doors and fenders and undersides as well.. Car to make it a show car will need a new paint job/decals on the hood and roof ONLY as it is starting to rust and bubble in a few small areas(see pics) areas. Car shines nice and is in good shape, I am just saying it is not a show car and needs attention. Interior is in EXCELLENT shape, dash in NOT cracked!! . Good daily driver car, not a show car! AC all there, just not hooked up?? Here is a list on new or newer items car has: All newer brakes Battery New tires Newer exhaust/mufflers Interior: Excellent!! . NO cracks in dash. Seats are nice, small cig burn in driver’s seat, hard to see at first. Headliner will need replaced someday. Missing sun visors. Overall in EXCELLENT shape and it shows! Power door locks do not work? Everything else seems to work great! Never tried the cruise control? Exterior: NO rust on doors, qtrs, etc. Minor dings/scratches here and there. Only spot on that I think needs attention is the hood and it has a 2 very small rust spot on it…SEE PICS.. Also the roof needs repainted between t- tops…SEE PICS....And I would also do the trunk as sun has starter to crack paint there…and tops of fenders as sun has started to crack paint a little here….. so what needs painted here??? Hood and roof/trunk and tops of fenders to make it very nice! Quarters’, doors etc shine nice!!. The bird on the hood in some area’s has a slight peel here and there. Also missing on the passenger side door is one of the 0’s on the 500 decal on door, no biggie. BUT CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION for year! UNDERSIDE: Excellent, excellent, excellent all original and no rust! Take a look at pics! Hard to find CAR this nice!!! REAR trunk in excellent condition and no rust anywhere on rear body panel etc etc. frame rails, floor panels etc are great!! Not even close to rusted out at all!! Motar/trans: Numbers matching engine!!!! 301 v-8! Just needs minor clean degrease. Ac unit not working, may need a charge? Car runs very good and starts right off. Previous owner drove this home from Oklahoma and car runs very good and does not overheat! Can drive it anywhere. Trans does have the normal SMALL leak from seals and small oil leak as they all seem to leak from these two areas. TIRES: NEW!!. Car is sold as is where is. You are buying a 1981 and not a 2008, so don’t think it is a show car. It needs attention to make it there. PLEASE HAVE MONEY IN HAND as I plan on selling car!!!!!!. Email with all questions please. My title shows it to be clear title with no branding on it what so ever!??? MAybe ok does not carry salvage history on titles in 1989?? STILL A VERY NICE CAR AND NO SIGNS OF BAD BODYWORK!! I HAVE HAD to relist this item 2 times bc ebay said I did not code title correct!!! As I SAID, my title shows no bands on a salvage title, iowa shows a prior salvg title if it had one.... I am guessing it did in 1989, but laws were different then and if car was fixed, the title then became clear!
