We have a large quantity of used trades and many are one owner like this Toyota Avalon. We will be listing all here on E-Bay, so keep checking back. Summer is coming to a close and it is time to start thinking about that ride back to campus. Or, perhaps you just landed a new job and need some wheels to get you there. We are proud to offer this extra clean 1999 Toyota Avalon XLS sedan with only 125,000 miles. This is actually low miles for a 11 year old car. There are badges in the fenders that indicate this is a "Platinum Edition", so perhaps this commemorated something special for Toyota. We are not Toyota dealers, so we cannot confirm anything that may be special. The exterior is finished in a Platinum Silver Metallic and looks very nice. The paint is glossy with just some minor fading on the deck lid. Our detail shop buffed this Avalon and brought the paint back to life. There are no rusted panels or body damage. The Carfax report indicated a collision many years ago, it appears that the repairs were done well. The headlamp capsules are just beginning to become cloudy, so it may be time for one of those reconditioning kits from the auto parts store. The cabin is luxurious Gray leather. The front seats are power buckets with a center console, with a full bench in the rear. The leather is still in great shape with only minimal signs of wear. As you would expect in a "top of the line" model, there are plenty of comfort and convenience options. The climate control works perfect with cold air conditioning and blistering heat. The windows/locks/seats/moonroof/radio are all in operational condition. There are no smoke or pet odors present in the interior. The ashtray/lighter have never been used. The only two interior "flaws" are a missing seat belt cover and some wear to the center console lid. The drivetrain is comprised of a 3.0 V6 engine backed up by an automatic overdrive transmission driving the front wheels. This engine starts right up and is quiet and smooth running. The automatic transmission shifts correctly through all the gears. There are no dash warning lights illuminated with the engine running. All four tires are matching Goodyear radials mounted upon the factory spoke alloy wheels. These rims are rather unique and are similar to BBS racing wheels. They may have been limited to these Platinum Edition models. The two front tires are worn to 5/32", rears are at 8/32". We sent this Avalon through our shop for a basic safety check and service by one of our top notch technicians. He reported that the rear brake pads and wiper blades were worn and a window moulding needed to be secured. We authorized replacement of the brake pads, wiper blades and secured the moulding. In addition, we changed the oil/filter and topped off all the fluids. No other obvious issues were found or reported. This is a nice clean reliable sedan that should have lots of great miles remaining. Where are all the under $5000 cars?? Well, you just found a great candidate...don't snooze and lose this one! The CarFax report indicates a collision back in December of 1999. We do not subscribe to other companies providing auto history and base our listings on Carfax reports.
