Up for auction is a mint condition 2005 Scion tC Release Series 1.0. This car has been babied by all of its owners and I know them all personally. This vehicle was originally owned by a friend of our local car dealer. He drove it for a few thousand miles and decided he wanted to upgrade to an Acura NSX (we can't all have one of those now can we???) Next, the owner of the dealership (A friend of mine in Michigan) owned the car and drive it for 15k miles if I had to guess. I always loved his car and when he called and told me he was selling it because he was having another baby.... I drove up there and bought it! So, I know where every mile of this car has come from! This car has NEVER been in an accident. It has been adult driven. It is hard to find one of the release series that has been taken such good care of. Most I have seen have had salvage titles, or has been ruined by some youngster trying to make it "hip" This car has a CLEAR title and has never had a single mechanical problem. All scheduled maintenance has been done and oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles. New tires were put on 5,000 miles ago. The tires are Kuhmo ASX (all season high performance tire) Check out tire rack.com They got great reviews on there! The car has a smooth auto transmission. Auto transmission fluid was just changed 700 miles ago to keep up with standard maintenance. Fuel injectors were just cleaned. This is a Release series car. If you are not familiar with that, it's the initial release of the tC model year. They make a certain amount in a certain color. In this instance for 2005, there were 2500 made. Mine is labeled 2478/2500 and has an engraved plate on the interior of the car from the factory. It also has carbon fiber door slits that say release series 1.0. It also comes with a front strut bar straight from TRD that was also part of the package. Unlike many other scions, this one does have a spolier. It was an upgrade purchased by the original owner at the dealership. The seats are a red and black cloth matching the car and is only available for this model year and its release series. This car was only driven in the summer. You can tell by the low mileage. There is NO rust on this car because of that. Some toys that I have put inside of this car is a AVIC-D3. A pioneer in dash Navigation, DVD/CD and ipod player. There is a connection is the glove compartment and you connect it and you can control your iPod right on the navigation screen! I am including the East Navigation Disc for this as well. Also, you will be receiving a Escort Custom Installed 9500IX radar detector. This has been hard wired by a professional. I am including the detector with the car. That alone is over $500. The navigation unit is $1000. There is also a $1500 sound system in the car that was also professionally installed. All the speakers are Infiniti Kappa Perfect. If you haven't heard of these, they are about as good as you can get. The clarity is amazing! As far as mechanics go, it has never needed anything more than standard maintenance and oil changes. The car has been treated better than my children! Cosmetically it is in good condition. There is one scratch you can see in the picture of a runaway shopping cart that got me in the parking lot. It isn't noticeable unless you get very close to it. There are a few small paint chips at the front of the car from flying stones etc. Nothing that you wouldn't expect. There are no dents or door dings or anything of that nature. I always parked very very far away! The rims are beautiful! They came factory installed as part of the Release Series Package. They are 18" Enkei rims and are graphite. All of them are in great condition. The back right one does have a little rim rash. I am trying to be as descriptive as possible! The car does have a factory illumination kit. It is orange in color and can be turned on and off. This is a factory kit made by Scion. This is not a cheap aftermarket LED kit. Also installed on this car is a Viper Remote Start/ Security System. It is a $600 system and you can remote start it from 1 Mile away. It also acts as a pager and will let you know when your car has been remote started or if someone is attempting to break in. It can also tell you the temperature inside of the car. My favorite part of the car is the fact that the entire roof is glass! I get tons of compliments on it. There is a front sunroof and a rear moonroof! There are Scion factory all season floor mats in the front of the car and standard factory mats in the back. Steering is great and has just been aligned.
