Up for sale is my 1986 Toyota Pickup 4x4. These trucks have a reputation of being able to live forever. $3000 is my target sale price.The facts: Toyota 22R 2.4L inline 4 cylinder gasoline engine 193,000 miles (on the chassis, previous owner claims that motor was replaced 15,000 miles ago with a 70,000 mile motor from a wrecked truck) CLEAN CO TITLE in hand Custom paint job Heavy duty bumper with tow hooks Roll bar Custom fog lights Sunroof AM/FM radio and CD player (not hooked up) Oversized tyres Bed mat I’ve put a lot of time and money into preventive maintenance to make sure this thing never lets me down. A list: New windshield New lower ball joints New idler arm New shocks all around New v-belt New brakes/pads/fluid all around New rear seals New wheel/axle bearings Tranny fluid just changed Both differential fluids just changed Transfer case flushed Alignment done Carbs rebuilt late last year Gas tank drained and cleaned New fuel pump New fuel filter New spark plugs New spark plug wires New distributor and cap New battery New air filter New exhaust from headers to the cat (truck is quiet!) I have kept receipts for most of these parts. Keep in mind that this truck is 24 years old (almost as old as me!!) So of course, it has appropriate wear and tear. Definitely better than many cars even 10 years newer though. Some things that I can point out are the small rust on the body where the exhaust exits, minor chips and dings all around, the sunroof that has a tiny drip in heavy downpours, the cracked driver side mirror, the crack in the dash, and the crack on the inside door handle. It is carbureted so you have to treat it nice in cold weather, but even in the dead of winter it will still start after 5-10 seconds of cranking.
