Vehicle Detail
This is a fully restored 2003 Cobra Convertible that I completed earlier this year. It has an Oklahoma REBUILT title. I bought the car with a damaged front end in 2008 and spent 2 years restoring it to like new condition. I am not a professional shop but have restored many Mustangs over the years including a 1966 Shelby GT-350 that won first place at SAAC in Nashville, TN -2003 (Mike Peck SFM6S1507). The quality of the repairs and paint is very high. The black paint is far better than the factory orange peel plagued junk. The paint is PPG basecoat/clearcoat Deltron DBC base with Deltron DC4000 clear. It has been sanded and buffed using 3M components and is in excellent condition. Front panel replacements include K-member, both front fenders, the radiator core support and both inner fenders as well as the passenger side shock tower and partial frame rail. The airbags were not deployed in the accident. All components were replaced with Ford OEM sheetmetal. All dimensions were verified against the factory measurements as shown on page 502-00-02 of the 2003 Mustang Workshop Manual published by Ford. The repairs are done right and are very solid. The alignment shop had absolutely no issues getting everything to factory specifications. The interior is perfect. New carpet was installed during the restoration as well as "like new" parchment front and back seats that I bought on Ebay - these things show very little wear on them and are rarer than than the gray seats that originally came in this vehicle. The black convertible top is perfect and works wonderfully. Mechanically, this car has no issues whatsoever. Engine and transmission are original. A/C works great. During the restoration the following items were replaced with new pieces: Brake pads, front rotors, Centerforce clutch, LFP Flywheel and tob. A/C condenser and lines, radiator and heat exchanger. Modification List: Maximum Motorsports - IRS urethane bushings, Full length subframe connectors, Caster/Camber plates, front control arm urethane bushings/isolators, Low profile IRS bolts Cut stock springs NOS wet kit: installed but never used, bottle has never been filled (I recommend a good dyno tune before getting the nitros working). Lightning Force Performance– “COBRA” Heat Exchanger, Intercooler tank and radiator reservoir BilletFlow IRS Brace, BilletFlow 2.93 supercharger pulley and idlers Steeda Tri-Ax shifter JLT Cold Air Intake EGR Delete, Smoked lights AFS 18 x 10.5 Rear Wheels, Rear Tires: Nitto 555R 335-30ZR18. LDC head cooling mod. Exhaust: MAC pro chamber with no cats, Magnaflow cat back system to the rear. Original exhaust and components are included if desired. Many original take off parts go with the car including rear 17" wheels and tires, intake system, EGR system, exhaust, and other miscellaneous items. Although it has an extensive mod list this car was original and stock when I purchased it in '08. The car (as listed) only has 2500 miles on it since completion and has not been "beat to death" as you will find with so many other Terminators. Serious bidders only, make sure funds are in place and available before bidding. REBUILT title will make it more difficult to obtain bank financing. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
