The 262C was designed at Volvo in Sweden, but it was produced by Turin coachbuilder Bertone in Italy. In its day it was criticised for its somewhat squashed appearance but there’s no doubt it was something a little bit different from the standard Volvo. However it is still very obviously a Volvo product. During its production run from 1977 to 1981 just 6622 coupes were built. I am the second owner of this volvo bertone coupe.  The AC works,it has power windows, power door locks, and the heat works too.  The exterior is two one with brown and gold.  There are no major paint defects except the roof and the top of the trunk are slightly faded (but hardly noticeable as you can see in the photos).  There is a small dent in the rear panel of the driver side of the car.  There is no paint chipping and this can easily be popped out.  The interior is tan leather.  The front seats have some wear tear from the weather (the car spent a lot of time in florida, since the original owner kept the car there).  Due to the florida sun the dash also has some cracking.  This car come from a smoke free home and is mechanically sound.  I did have a new starter installed.  The car has historic plates on it and has only been driven on sundays since I owned it.  It was a daily driver for the original owner when he would vacation in florida, which explains the low amount of miles it has (56K). The car is all original, with a little TLC there is not much that needs to be done to make this car show-worthy.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
