Vehicle Detail
This Stunning and Rare 1973 JAGUAR XJ12 Sedan is in Silver with a great contrasting French blue leather interior. This 1973 Xj12 is one of very few remaining examples in un-molested condition and it was only produced in limited numbers only for 1973 and this is one of the last ones made and very few remain so this is a great chance to own one. The car is in great condition for its age and would not take much to get back on the road .The car is all original and and has always been garage kept so the paint and chrome are in great condition and has only had one respray years ago that has held up with a beautiful shine as you can see the water beads off the paint and it shines even at night .The car is very solid with only has 1 very small spot of rust found that is half a dime size right by the windshield, but none found anywhere else, this includes none around the wheel wells ,floors, doors ,fenders between the tail pipes or underneath. The original interior is a in a rare bright blue not the dark blue and it the leather as well as the carpets are in great condition with only minimal wear on the seats and only has a small tear on the drivers seat bolster but the rest of the seats are great but a little dusty in the pics and the original headliner has come down so it will have to be redone. The trunk is also very clean with its original velvety carpet and trim and still has the original spare and tools, there is also NO rust on the trunk floor. Mechanically the car is not currently running as it was having the carbs rebuilt and but was never completed and I do have the air filters which are pictured and the the car has only been sitting for a couple of years indoors,so it shouldn't take much to get the car back up and running again as it was before the work was started. With the battery connected it does turn over and all interior lights, hazards, signals, wipers ,blower and radio work as they should. It is a beautiful and rare car in this condition but I have lost my garage space and do not want her sitting outside so a couple cars must go.Car is pictured on a flatbed coming from my old garage to the parking space, where it currently sits.So the car will need to be towed away and I can assist in that if need be. I am the only the 3rd owner of the car and it is beautiful and although it is 37y.o it is not flawless but not far from it. It will also come with the original keys ,some original records as well as the original manuals packet and metal stamped id card. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want any more info on the car.
