Hello! You are looking at a 1966 VW California Classic Bug. It was left to us from my dad, I don’t know a lot about bugs but if I’m missing something you can e-mail me. What I know about this great bug is, it’s original, the body, the paint, interior, 1300 engine, spare tire, even the owner’s manuals. The carburetor is new; it is a sofex with eclectic choke single port and original six volt system. The body is straight, all except for the passenger side rear finder, just a little ding and there is service rust in places but it’s not bad at all. The rack on top comes with it and the tow hitch not seen in picture will go with buyer no charge. (2in. ball) I just want to sell this sweet bug to someone that will take care of it like my dad did. The bug runs great but it needs a starter, you have to push start it but when you do she fires up and runs prefect. To let you know there is some rust holes that I did take pictures of, one is under the passenger side floor and one on the driver side step, not bad for being that old and that original. The buyer will have to pick up or find a way to ship it after auction is closed. Buyer needs to bring the payment or send the payment to me within 10 days after auction is closed.
