I'm selling my beloved Nissan Patrol. These are ultra rare 4x4's and even much more rare in un-molested, rust free and mechanically sound condition. I have invested a great deal in this Patrol in terms of the most important mechanical components. I haven't done anything with the engine as it is in absolute tip-top condition. I did complete the essential conversion from a generator to an alternator set-up and also put in a new starter. This Patrol is in Excellent condition. Transmission and front and rear differentials have been services. Brakes have been completely refurbished. The Driveline has been gone through and all seals have been serviced and/or replaced. I just bought brand new tires(less than 25 miles on these tires that I paid $675.00 for. New battery, new ignition. This Patrol is otherwise un-restored and in excellent condition. Paint is in excellent condition for a 44 year old paint job. The frame is un-restored and completely flawless. The original black paint still shows little aging on the frame. This patrol was purchased and lived it's life in Bakersfield, CA. until I purchased it. I have the original factory key and keychain from the dealership from 1966. I have all manuals, including the coveted shop and parts manuals. Currently the top is off. It is a hard-top and it is in excellent condition. It has always been parked under cover. It has the original inline 6 and the 3 speed manual transmission. I sold this on eBay a few months ago to a gentlemen in Dubai. He did not complete payment so I did not ship the vehicle. The dispute was over shipping cost as he changed his mind after buying it because it was too expensive. And he gave me the 1 negative feedback I've ever gotten. A real bummer. I've sold vehicles on eBay before and have otherwise always had great experiences. This Patrol is available for local test driving. The winning bidder can pick it up in person or have it shipped. On Aug-17-10 at 10:55:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Just added some more pictures of the following - The BRAND NEW tires, another angle of the rear seats, the under the dash heater(I repainted it), and the recently serviced differentials. I also took a picture of the lock that was on the spare tire rack. It's super cool and in great working order. That lock is very old. The key ring on it 'Camp Motors, Bakersfield, CA". That was the the key ring that was on the ignition keys when I got this rig. I think this is a nice touch for this rare and historically significant patrol. I'm also going to try to upload a video of me starting the patrol and of the engine running. If I can get that done, I'll post a link to it on here. AND the final comment. I forgot that the timing of the end of this auction is inconvenient for me. I am checking into the hospital later today for a weeks worth of Radiation treatment that I must go through as part of a Cancer battle I am currently battling.
