Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a 1956 Chevrolet 210 4 door sedan. I have all parts of this vehicle including bumpers, grill, head lights, chrome, bezels, etc. You are bidding on a complete car. All glass is usable except the windshield which I cracked when it taking out. It has a Blue Flame 6 cylinder motor that runs very well. I suspect that the carburetor needs to be rebuilt as it seems to lose its prime after sitting for a period of time. It has a powerglide automatic transmission that worked fine when I bought the car. I have done nothing to the tranny so I am confident that it will operate well. The rear end that came with this car was a 3.36, it had some problems so I purchased a 3.08 and it is under the car at this time. I have since had the 3.36 rebuilt and it is included with the sale. It is set up for a generator and it works fine. The shocks are old as can be expected. The floor pans were replaced before I purchased the vehicle. The interior will need to be re-done. The seats are in better than average condition and will work for an every day driver. There is a small hole in the driver side back rest. Body work will have to be finished. This car has some rust that will not effect its functionality but can be addressed (or not depending on the degree of restoration). The trunk has a small area that is rusted through and the front window has an area that is rusted through. I have shown pictures of both areas. I have 95% of this car stripped to metal and a light coat of primer on it to prevent surface rust. I have replaced the sheet metal where the door hinges mount inside the A-Pillar on both sides. As you can see the doors mount back in place and close well. The cowl extensions will need to be welded back into place. I have one brand new cowl extension and the other is in good condition from a donor vehicle. I have all of the dash components including the original radio. The wheels are original 15" Chevy wheels. I have all of the stainless that came with the vehicle and I have picked up a few more parts that are included and which I believe make it complete. Also included in the sale of this vehicle is a brand new and complete Classic Update AAW (American Auto Wire) wiring harness with fuse block. This is a $500 value in itself. I'm sure I have left out a few things but the bottom line is that this is a great price for a 56 Chevy in this condition. If you have any questions please email me. This car is sold "AS IS" with no warranty expressed or implied. I have clear title for car. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transport arrangements and/or pickup. There is NO reserve on this car so when the starting bid is place this vehicle will sell. -$500 deposit due at end of auction
