Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1955 Packard Caribbean, offered by The Vault Classic Cars, with many more photos than Ebay will host at WWW.VAULTCARS.COM or contact us at 714-401-1047 during Pacific daylight hours. International customers are welcome to bid. This Caribbean, one of only 500 built in 1955, is all the more rare because it has a factory installed manual 3 speed stick shift transmission! A nice, reliable unit that doesn’t need all the care and feeding that the infamous twin-ultramatic does! This car has benefited from a tremendous amount of work over the last few years, and it’s a great running and driving car! 352 V-8, with correct Dual Carburetors and batwing air cleaner Factory Stick shift! Caribbean chrome wire wheels, like new! 5 near new Diamondback whitewall radials Load leveler system works great! Power top works great! Power windows work great! Recent and beautiful and correct leather interior Inner top lining is the correct soft green Clean and detailed engine bay It’s a very, very nice car, and it’s ready to enjoy now! I think the car could stand a paint job at some point, the paint is shiny, but it’s older and has various flaws. The Chrome and stainless is very, very good, but there are a limited number of pieces that I would rechrome if the decision were made to take the car to the next level. I also noted some de-lamination in the windshield glass. Overall, it’s a great car, very rare and especially desirable for it’s standard transmission, one of only a handful known with that feature! Feel free to contact me at 714-401-1047 for more information or to view the car. THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD UNLESS YOU OBTAIN A CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION. After you sign a motor vehicle purchase or lease contract, it may only be cancelled with the agreement of the seller or lessor or for legal cause, such as fraud. However, California law does require the seller to offer a 2 day contract cancellation option on used vehicles with a purchase price of less than $40,000, subject to certain statutory conditions. See the vehicle contract cancellation option agreement for details. The prospective purchaser of a vehicle may, at his or her own expense and with the approval of the dealer, have the vehicle inspected by an independent third party either on or off the dealership premises.
