You are bidding on a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 cab and chassis with 163” wheel base. 5.9 liter I-6 24-valve Cummings diesel 2WD with automatic transmission. Mileage: 192,000. Truck is still being driven. Engine runs great and does not smoke. Engine has had regular servicing throughout its life. Engine is completely stock, never altered. Transmission shifts smoothly and was just serviced along with rear differential on 6/21/10. Matching set of Firestone LT235/85 R16 Trans-force HT tires with approximately 50% tread. Chrome wheel covers with one rear center cap missing. This was a work truck so there are minor dents and dings. Truck has always been in southeastern North Carolina, so there is no rust on the frame or body. Truck originally had a wind deflector on hood and fenders which caused light surface rust where it was attached. (Any rust is minor, there are no holes or flaking.) Light surface rust on flat bed. Front grill is loose on passenger side. Cloth seat is clean with no holes, burns, or stains. Upper dash is in poor condition, which is typical for this make and model. Air conditioning and cruise control work. 8’ x 12’ Knapheide flatbed with step and heavy duty hitch. 9” x 18” cutout in front of bed from previous owner’s outfitting. Fold-away towing mirrors. I bought the truck from the original owner two months ago. It was a service vehicle for a commercial door company. I have all service records for the last 5 years.
