Vehicle Detail
Since the majority of people who are reading this ad knows what a Volvo V70 is, I won't go into the the options, the leather or the heated seats. Instead, I will speak on the advantages of the 2000 non-turbo Volvo V70. This is the last of the real Volvos. The 5 cylinder non-turbo is a bullet proof engine build heavy duty and build to last a million miles if taken care of. In addition this the first year for the V70 to have a 5 speed transmission. Which makes it a great ride on the highway. When I purchased this car it was my goal to find one with low milage, no turbo, manual seats and no sunroof - the less luxury items on this car the less to break. Sadly, I had to settle with one with a sunroof and power seats. However, I only used the sunroof twice - once when I bought the car and today, I checked to see if it still worked. This car has been mine for four years and I am a Volvo guy. That means I do most of the work myself and have it check by a Volvo Dealer every coupe of years. All fluids are always checked and maintained. Three months ago I flushed the transmission fluid and replaced it with new. New front tires were installed on the car at 81,000 while it was at the Volvo dealership for and overall checkup. They also fixed a vibration at 70 mph - a rim out of balance. The body is in still excellent shape with just a couple of small scrapes on the bumpers. The rims also have a little curb rash. The back seat shown in the photos is the one with the built in child seats. I put this seat in as soon as I got the car. [3 kids] and I still have the original back seat that looks like it was never sat on ready to put back in. The passenger seat is in great condition while the driver seat does show usage it is in still excellent condition with no tears anywhere in the interior, In addition, I have the Volvo rubber mats in that have kept the rugs looking new. When I purchased the car it had 56,000 miles on it and was owned by retired professional photographer. He used it as his production can and that was it. I have used it as our second car and drove it mostly on the NJ turnpike. Anyone is welcome to come see the car or call me with any questions or ask for a photo of a detail of any kind. [917-450-5212] In addition, if the car is not all I say it is, I will let you out of the sale. I have loaded the photos twice super sized and they have not gone through at the larger size. If anyone wants to see any image larger, I would be happy to e-mail it. Thanks for looking. On Aug-27-10 at 11:40:23 PDT, seller added the following information: Greetings! I just published a new movie to my MobileMe Gallery of the V70. Nothing is wrong with it aside for a couple of minor blemishes here and there. However, it has far fewer blemishes then you would expect from a 2000 model year car. I think it is due to it being stored in the garage. The car is not super, fast but it's very happy to do 80 mph on the turnpike. The brakes work well and I have the paperwork from its last trip to the Volvo Dealer a few months back. I really like the car and I am sorry to see it go. However, I am moving in a few months to SC, and can't take it with me.
