1969 Triumph TR6 Bonneville

Up for auction is a too cool custom easy rider style 1969 Old School Triumph chopper. Looks great just sitting there ! This is no beginners bike (how do they ride these things ?), affectionately known as an acci waiting to happen, you need to have your wits about to ride this thing. The seat is rough on the tooshy. The brakes ? are OK. It goes much better than it stops ! This one has been parked indoors for the past 10 years. Bates style headlight. The tires are 2.50X18 in front, and 16X5, with an Avon in the rear. The rear has lots of tread, and looks new, the front has lots of weather checking, so I wouldn't go too fast with this one. Maybe OK for a short weekend jaunt to the donut shop, but I wouldn't venture much beyond that with this front tire (how do they ride these things ?) It has not been ridden regularly in the past 10 years. Side stand only, which needs to be re-adjusted. Does not include the battery, so you will have to bring your own, if you intend to ride it home. The paint is pretty good (you be the judge). Thanks for looking in.
