We are selling this very rare 1973 Oldsmobile Omega. This is one of the X-body cars that GM manufactured in the early 70's. This car is the cousin to the Chevy Nova, Buick Apollo, and the Pontiac Ventura. The Omega had a few more appointments that added a little more class and value than the other GM counterparts. It has the Cutlass style front end that gives it the look of a world class touring car. This car has the original Oldsmobile "Rocket 350" with a 2 barrel. Since I have had this vehicle, I have replaced and/or rebuilt a good portion of the power train and steering / suspension: Replaced the rear end, Rebuilt the top end and replaced the timing chain and gears (all steel), new starter, new alternator, new battery, new water pump, new lower control arms and bushings, new brake pads, new shocks and front springs, new shocks and leaf springs in rear, rebuilt the transmission, a new radiator and hoses and belts. This Olds came with factory air. I had it running, but it needs a compressor. ( A6 compressor about $170 at auto Zone ) This car runs great and looks great as well. It really turns heads. My daughter drove it to school for a couple of years and the gear head boys thought a lot of her. (The car, not my girl) This Omega has Apollo tail lights that were on it when I got it. Everything works. The paint looks great ( done about 3 years ago ) and the interior isn't too bad. @nd time listed and the reserve has been lowered a bit.
