You are bidding on a 1970 Cherolet Chevelle Malibu 454 SS Clone; The owner of this vehicle had passed away a few months ago and devoted his entire life to this car, what we can tell you about the car is it has a true 454 motor, it is not a 70's matching numbers motor, it has been redone by a professional shop but his wife does not know what all was done. We do know it a gear to gear on the timing chaing, has a different cam, more compression than a stock 454, motor has about 1200-1800 miles on it since it was totally redone. It has a double-pump Holly dual feed carb with stainless steel headers and exhaust, 400 turbo automatic transmission with air cooled fins on the pan, it has front disc brakes, power steering, power brakes, air shocks, oil pressure is very high on idle. This car does not make any noise or smoke, runs and drives great, very fast; it has a 12 bolt rear end and the ratio appears to be in the high 4's The body is in extremely mint condition, we do believe it was a frame off in the course of the previous owners life. Has been in a heated garage for the last fifteen years while he worked on it. All body parts were put back together with stainless steel bolts and nuts, car has never been wrecked or bondoed up, this is an original body that has been painted metallic blue.
