You are bidding on a great car. It is a 2005 Volkswagen New Beetle with a diesel engine and manual transmission. This car has VERY LOW MILEAGE at only 31,823. I purchased this car as a VW certified used vehicle from the local Volkswagen dealership with 16,000 miles. I have only put an additional 16,000 miles on the vehicle because I usually ride my bike to work, so most of the miles are highway miles from road trips. This car still has a factory warranty until October 15, 2010. This car has no mechanical problems, has always been serviced by the VW dealership and has a VERY CLEAN interior with no rips, stains or tears on the upholstery. The 30,000 mile service/oil change was just completed on the vehicle and although it wasn't required, I had a new battery and serpentine belt installed by VW. This is a great car that has averaged about 45-50 MPG on the highway and has never had any mechanical problems of any kind. This vehicle has also has a sunroof, original (very clean) floormats, the owner's manual, and a factory warranty until October 2010. I'm selling the car with a PIP wooden roof rack, which is also in excellent condition. This is considered to be a collectors item because PIP no longer makes these racks. If you prefer not to keep the rack I can easily remove it before you take possession of the vehicle. Both of the keyless entry remotes are functional, but need new batteries. There are no dents on the exterior. There are three small scratches which are pictured in the photos. I am a non smoker and there have not been any pets in this vehicle. If you are the winning bidder you must place a $500.00 deposit on the vehicle within 48 hours. You can either pick up the vehicle or I can help you arrange shipping.
