Vehicle Detail
This is a loaded Chili Red John Cooper Works JCW Package Convertible S. I am the original owner, and it has been my daily driver for the last 4 years, but I only drive about 2 miles to work each day. It has been garaged every night here in Southern California, it has never seen any snowy or icy roads, and I have done all the maintenace recommended by Irvine Mini. Here are the details, from the sticker: - 2006 Mini Cooper S Convertible - Space Gray/Panther Black Cloth interior - Combo #4 Convenience Package (universal door opener, autodimming rear view mirror, rain sensor/auto headlights - Combo #3 Cold Weather (Heated Washer Jets, Heated Mirrors, Heated Front Seats) - Combo #2 Sport Package (Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Front Fog Lamps, Performance Run Flat tires, Bonnet Stripes, Xenon Headlamps with powerwash) - Multi-function Steering Wheel with Cruise - Combo #6 John Cooper Works Tuning Kit #11314 (JCW Engine Kit, JCW Sport Brake Kit, Limited Slip Differential) - Interior Surface in Body Color - Chrome Line Interior - Center Armrest - Rear Fog Lamps - Cockpit Chrono Package - Harman Kardon Sound System Dealer Installed Options: - Aero Kit - Shift Knob in Body Color - JCW Door Sills - JCW 18" Star Spoke Wheels - Grey Rubber Floor Mats, front and back - 4 Wheel Locks - Rear Mounted Bicycle Rack for 2 bikes The only word for it is loaded. And everything works perfectly. I don't like leather, so I didn't get that, and I opted out of the Nav system because I think it looks lame with the retro look of the cockpit of this car. This car cost me $45,337.07 at purchase since I custom ordered it, and that was before the $1144 for the Mini rear mounted bicycle rack. Included are the original window sticker, the JCW Tuning Kit Certificate of Authenticity, and the full set of owner's manuals. Why would I part with this beauty? My family has just gotten too big for it, and forget about the kids' school carpool. So I got a SUV with a 3rd row to replace it. Such is life. So it is time to send it off into new adventures. Disclosure: I was rear-ended twice in this car, at low speed. Both times, the bumper and rear hatch were damaged. Both were repaired to the highest standards. The truth is that this car got me out of trouble both times, because I stopped so fast with those JCW brakes that the guy behind me couldn't stop fast enough. I only hope my new 4Runner can do that job as well. The body is really clean, with just one minor door ding with no paint scratches or chips (it can't even be photographed), and a few very minor wear and tear spots on the interior plastic. I'm on the second set of tires, and they are in pretty good shape, but the interior edge is showing wear on a couple of them, so they probably use rotation. This is a great car, particularly for someone who will appreciate the JCW kit on it. That tuned rumble on deceleration combined with the scary fast 220 HP is a something that I already miss. I'm not a professional seller, so I'm sure that I am missing some details here. Let me know if there are any questions.
