Up for auction is an original unmolested 427 wagon. It's loaded with options, including the L36 385 hp Turbo-Jet 427. It still has the numbers matching 427 under the hood and it runs and drives. Along with the 427 engine, it also has power steering, power disc brakes, power windows and door locks, and power seat, (but no AC!). I have a copy of the original window sticker posted below. It is a local Los Angeles assembled car and spent it's whole life in L.A. so no rust issues except for a small spot behind the front right wheel well. The tires have at least 80% tread left. The interior is in great shape except the front seat needs recovering and the headliner has a hole in the back. As you can see in the pictures, it needs a cosmetic restoration. It has all the wood trim parts, but the corners need work. The previous owner had trouble parking it in his trailer park! He scraped 3 out of 4 corners on this car. The front fenders aren't bad, but the right rear quarter panel needs help from the sorry attempt at body work done by the previous owner. The tags expired in Oct 08, so the back fees are around $250.00. Also the radiator has a slow leak, don't know if it can be repaired. This is a solid start for a project that you can drive as you restore it! This was my daily driver for 6 years before I parked it. I start once a month to keep everything going.
