Vehicle Detail

1968 Dodge Superbee matching #'s drivetrain, 383 Magnum, 833 4spd, 3.23 suregrip rear. All original engine has never been out of the car I've owned the car since 1988. Car needs restoration. Interior is sun dried and headliner rotted away years ago. Car will run and can be driven but I would not say it's a daily driver repeat you probably cannot drive it to California. I drove it from 29 palms Calif to Carrollton Ga however, that was many years ago!!! Car was originally out of Los Angeles it was there it got all of it's little dings and dents ( the pass quarter is damaged and will need replacement) and the trunk lid rusted beyond keeping it on the car (it would not close) however, the rest of the car is Calif solid as you will see in the pics. I invite any and all questions, know what your looking at what you see is what you get. If you want to see it come on and take a look I'll be glad to show it. I know the car needs upper & lower ball joints ( it wore out a new set of tires coming from Calif back in the day ) If your looking for a decent car to start with I think this one is it. Check out the lower quarters in the pics no rust this car is not a salt cured bondo bucket. Not many with the original drivetrain still running that have never been rebuilt. Note the hood is the correct hood for the car but, it's from another car (long story) I still have my Calif "pink slip" title from 1988 in my name.Car is sold as is where is, you the buyer will be responsible for delivery of your car once you pay for it. I'm an easy going fella if you buy it contact me and we'll work out the details no rush or time limits to get it removed. just so long as you pay up it can sit until you're ready I'm cool with it. Bid with complete confidence contact me if you would like specific pics I'll be more than happy to photograph anything you wish to see!!! check out the pics carefully this is a 42yr old un-restored vehicle that needs work but, it's not a junker all the parts are there. It's a car that has not been fooled around with and has always been completely stock. Thanks for checking it out I think you'll like it if 68s are your thing On Aug-14-10 at 19:28:54 PDT, seller added the following information: The fender tag is still on the vehicle and completely legible. I'm maxed out w 24 pics but I will gladly send you more in email. I still have the California "Black Plates" that were on the car 22 yrs ago when I bought the car On Aug-14-10 at 20:14:28 PDT, seller added the following information: sorry, for the small pics apparently once your item gets a bid the super size option is no longer avail. On Aug-18-10 at 11:02:34 PDT, seller added the following information: The trunk lid in the pics that isn't closed in any of the photos is from a '69 it's on the car just to hold the hinges down it obviously isn't the correct deck lid for the car. In 68 the latch was on the lid itself in 69 the latch was in the trunk well of the car. As stated above the original trunk lid rusted in the latch area and was replaced. The replacement rusted in the same area so, I failed to replace it for the third time so the 69 style was just slapped on.
