Vehicle Detail

Selling My Lil’Baby! 1960 Lark Regal VIII Convertible! I am the 2nd owner of this rare Studebaker Lark Regal Vlll Convertible which is a true collector’s vehicle. I purchased this Studebaker from a lady who’s husband was a collector and when he died she sold all of his collection of Studebakers except this one, which I purchased when she moved. I went over the whole vehicle to make it s cutie driver for me, my wife and three daughters (yes, the ladies LOVE this little car as they all say “oh, it is so cutie). My eldest daughter actually learned how to drive in this car at 15 since it was so smooth to roll on the gas pedal and solid and sturdy in turns and driving. What is great is this Studebaker has all the bells and whistles in looking for a collectable car, it has the V8, dual exhaust, 4 barrel carburetor and intake manifold, deluxe trim, convertible top, power top, Twin traction or most call posi traction my goal was to purchase a Bambi Aerostream Trailer and the little Lark would have pulled it just fine. I know have a 6 month old son, 3 year old daughter, 6 year old daughter and a 18 year old in college so the little Lark & my Porsche (yes, my toys) needs to go ASAP so I am selling the Lark Regal Vlll at NO RESERVE!!! I can have it shipped to anyplace in the world thru the connections I have in transport just let me know your location. 1960 Studebaker Lark Regal Convertible Hemmings Motor News - NOVEMBER 1, 2006 - BY MARK J. MCCOURT Available in two series, basic Deluxe and upscale Regal, Premium Lark VIII models featured an 259.2-cu.in. OHV V-8 engine with a 3.56 x 3.25-inch bore and stroke, 8.8-compression and a two-barrel Stromberg carburetor that was good for 180hp. An optional Carter four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts bumped the V-8's horsepower rating to 195. Also optional were overdrive, which lowered engine rpm by 30 percent on three-speed manual transmission-equipped cars (which also featured Studebaker's famous hill holder) and the "Flightomatic" automatic. Studebaker's Lark series would be redesigned for 1961, including the convertible models, making the 1960 Regal convertibles into one-year-only models; There were only 5,464 of the $2,756 Lark VIII versions hit American roads in 1960. Today, these relatively low-production vehicles can command $5,000 to $15,000 in VI form or $5,500 to $17,000 in VIII trim, depending on condition and options. • 1960 Studebaker • Convertible • Lark • Regal VIII • TT (Twin Traction) (Posi Traction) • 259 V8 • Factory 4-Barrel • HP-195@4500 • Torque- 265@2800 • Automatic • Vin #60V-23059 • Dual Exhaust • New gas tank • Brakes • Radiator done • New white walls • Have the original 1963 Black license plates front and rear • Have the original owners manual Regarding Numbers # · Vin #60V-23059 · Motor #1554641 (with a 4 above the numbers) · 4 Barrel manifold Manifold #1547530 · Carberator Carter #6-1299 RE21610 · Distributor #?
