Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very custom 1975 CB550F Honda Supersport Cafe Racer/Dirt Tracker. Placed Second for bike of the month on the SOHC4 Honda Forum this month! This bike was ripped down to the last bolt and then built from the ground up. Engine was painted, custom rocker covers, pod filters, tail light, signals, head light. Has stainless brake cables, custom cafe seat, and drag bars. New master cylinder, brake pads and fluids all around. New petcock, new tires, custom exhaust wrap and custom shocks. Desert Sky Blue custom paint with cafe knee dents. Four into one Kerker exhaust. The tank developed a pinhole after paint so I had to do some touch ups, but it has been professionally cleaned, repaired, and sealed by a radiator shop and does not leak. As with any 70's Honda the carbs will need to be adjusted/cleaned to get it running perfect. Speedo gear tang broke so I bought another one. Easy fix, but I wanted to ride it this month so I didn't bother using the speedo. I will include everything I have with this bike. Manual, tool set, extra parts, etc. It is probably due for a new gasket/seal kit all around as many of them are original to the motor. Gauges are a replacement set so the mileage reads 3,000. I have a lot of money invested in this bike (the paint and knee dents alone were $500.) If the reserve is not met I may adjust, but I am really hesitant to sell at the reserve price anyway. Registered and titled in NYS (clean.) The video shows that the bike does run. Video was shot in the rain in the morning before the bike had been warmed up at all. Please do not bid if you don't want this bike. I will keep your deposit regardless. It is just too much of a hassle to relist and wait for buyers that don't really want the bike. If you need it shipped, you need to set up every single detail. Cash or Cashiers Check from a reputable bank on pickup. NO PERSONAL CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS. I reserve the right to wait until any payment clears before signing over the title to the bike.
