I have for sale here is 1988 Toyota Supra turbo with automatic transmission and dealer installed sunroof. It was my project car and now I have to part with it. There are some good and bad things about this car. Let me go over with good thing fist: It has only 2 owners. The mileage is true and it is 87k documented miles. It has all the receipts since day 1 from dealer. Transmission has been overhauled by AAMCO with receipt more than $3000. Timing belt has been changed and heagasket has been redone at Toyota dealer. It has dealer installed sunroof. Tires are good and It has just been aligned. Title is clear. Now the bad things: it had a minor fender bender accident in 2008. One fender has been replaced. Front end has been repainted. It looks good though, but you need to re-adjust the front bumper (my friend did a sloppy job on it.) Front struts need to be replaced. Front rotors need to be replaced. Antenna is broken. Sunroof and power lock doesn't work (it could be fuse problems, I've never checked.) AC doesn't work (I don't know why, never checked.) Now, personally I think you can drive this car home anywhere in the States. It runs great and the engine is very very fresh and it has plenty of power. It does have a little overheat problem when you stop the car and let it run. I think it is because there is no fan shroud (please take a look at the picture below.) I don't think it has headgasket problem because the engine is very strong and it has a lot of power. Also, when you drive the car away from the dead spot, engine is cooling down.
