1949 oldsmobile sedanette. Has flathead six and hydramatic transmission. There was still oil in the engine, although I have not tried to turn it or start it. The car is virtually untouched since being parked. As far as the body goes the trunk has signifigant rust issues, the drivers quarter panel and rear body panel also have rust. The rear floor pans are rusty as well. There is also a hole in the front floor pan. That's the big stuff. There are a few dents but mostly cosmetic. No rear bumper or drivers tail light. The car looks to be complete other than that. Some of the the glass is gone or broken. After all that, it's still a cool old hot rod. The frame is in good shape. Open driveshaft and rear panard bar and sway bar. Also has knee action assist shocks in the rear. The interior is in rough shape but there. If the car was stripped down for restoration the overall condition would be average in todays standards for a car this age. I've tried to give worst case scenario on all issues. This car could still be restored to original if desired because of how complete it is. I also have a 49' 303 V8 rocket engine and transmission that would be available with the car for an additional cost. Buyer is responsible for pickup. The engine/trans will be available to the winning bidder for an additional $500. I don't know much about the engine/transmission combo. It was pulled out of a 49' olds 4dr. Its been sittin on a cart in my shop for about a year. The car can be stored for 30 days but has to be paid in full within 7 days or will be relisted. Sold as is. There are a few pieces inside the car such as hubs and trim.
