Vehicle Detail
Up for USA National auction is this UNRESTORED and mostly complete classic Honda Mini Trail 50 from 1969 or 1970. At this point, we are unable to determine the exact year. There is NO title or paperwork, or off-highway permit attached. We inherited it from a family who had it since new, and never registered it, and lost any original papers, to our knowledge. The details: - Ignition switch has original key. The motor starts with a few kicks, idles well, and runs through all 3 gears. - The battery is missing, so the headlight is not working. - Yellow and silver paint are original and faded. Tank and fender dings are minimal, but are clearly seen in the photos. The fuel tank has had had a small patch job near the petcock. - Most of the safety equipment is missing, like the license plate holder, reflectors, taillight, and turn signals. - Original seat cover is here, but torn at the corners. - The original tires hold air, but are severely cracked around the sidewalls. - Front suspension works okay, but the rubber boots are cracked. - The fuel line is new. - The handlebars are the quick-release fold-up ones, suitable for tight storage or auto bumper racks. - Rear passenger fold-up foot pegs (not shown) are included and good shape. ________________________________________________________________________________ This ebay auction requires that the lister includes the actual miles. Because this vehicle is NOT equipped with a speedometer/odometer, I entered "100" only as a default. The actual miles on this vehicle are UNKNOWN. We have done our best to describe the good, and not-so-good aspects of this cool li'l vintage bike, but please write if you have any further questions. Due to it's age and condition, bike will be sold AS-IS. Local pick-up is preferred at my California High Desert location. Shipping is not offered, but reasonable palletizing is an option if you, the buyer would like to arrange for reliable freight pick-up and delivery service. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for taking a look.
