This is a NO RESERVE ACUTION If you have been waiting for the right SS at a great deal, here it is! I bought it to keep it, and now I have to sell it. Absolutely immaculate, totally restored original 1970 SS El Camino (Serial # 36800L163308). Stripped down to the Frame for restoration in 1990 with a video of the complete process. There is absolutely no rust - 100% California car. It was placed in storage in 1990 for 16 years. Runs, drives and handles as if GM built it to have 550HP. It is as good as it gets. The most recent restoration work (2 years ago) includes a new built motor with all top of the line performance parts and way too many upgrades to even list. Over 45K invested and I have over $35K in receipts for parts alone going back to 1990. My loss is your gain. This El Camino is very sound. No squeaks or rattles. Absolutly no rust, CA car. Rides & drives like a dream. It's very fast, and totally streetable. It sounds awesome! It's ready to drive across the country if you have the time. It draws lots of attention when driven. With all the ceramic coating that was done to the motor, it runs great with 10 1/2:1 compression on premium pump gas. I built this car to keep, and used the best parts available. With this economy I now have to sell it. I have taken excellent care of it and never drive it hard, I just cruise to car shows in it. You will not be dissapointed in this car. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN! I have over $45K invested in it, but I'm listing it at NO RESERVE to sell it Now. Issues: All the main AC parts have been tested and are functional. (no leaks & fully charged - compressor & accumulator are new). Worked fine 6 months ago. Problem is the blower not comming on. Won't take long to fix, but I have run out of time to work on it. The Gear Vender transmission is installed and ready for the electronics (which is included). If you'r not familure with Gear Vendor transmissions, they turn your automatic into a 6 speed, and allow you to drive on the freeway @ 65 miles per hr. keeping the RPM at aprox. 2300, providing better mileage, and less wear on motor. Another benefit of the 6 speeds is the car is much quicker and smoother through all gears. If you are not interested in the Gear Vendor we can work something out and reduce the final price. For more info click here ://www.lickgearvendors.com/hrgm3s.html The car was originally painted in 1990 and is in still in great shape, (9 out of 10). Stright, no dents or bodywork, some minor scratches & chips. This El Camino is very close to the way it came from the Factory. If you want to see pictures of something I haven't shown just ask & I will Email them to you. Title is free &, clear and I have the pink slip. This El Camino is for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell it anytime and end this auction. Please Ask Questions - I know this car inside out, I will respond to all quickly.
