Please read entire listing carefully before you bid. This is an absolutely gorgeous Jaguar that has been lovingly and professionally restored. The car came in through our website: www.dennisbuyscars.com and was sold to us because the previous, elderly owner was sick and did not have the time or energy to finish the car. This is a stunning car that can be driven everyday or save it for that special dinner or ocasion. The paint job is brand new and it is finished in brilliant silver over maroon coves done with high quality two stage paint and is buffed and polished. The body is super straight as can be seen in the photographs. There is no evidence of any accident and I cannot find any rust on this car. Floors, inner fenders and frame are solid and dry. It has a steel sliding sunroof that works properly and does not leak. Headliner, carpets., door panels and upholstery are excellent with no rips or tears. Wood is excellent. It is equipped with the venerable 3.8 Liter Dual Overhead Cam Straight Six with Dual SU Carbs and Automatic Transmission. It fires right up everytime and pulls away strong even when cold. This is a rare Jaguar that actually is super reliable and does not leak any fluids whatsoever. It is a true joy to drive, it shifts beautifully and can be driven around town or a freeway speeds for hours. It does not get hot, handles and steers wonderfully. Original factory disc brakes and rotors are 80% plus. Clean title in hand. Here is a list items that are new or recently rebuilt and ALL receipts are included: Rebuilt transmission, Valve job, rebuilt SU carbs, new timing chains and guides, new tires, new water pump, rebuilt generator, new battery, new voltage regulator, rebuilt power steering pump, recored radiator, rebuilt gas tanks, new master cylinder, new fuel pumps, new electronic ignition, plugs and wires.
