1956 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Interior: Restored to factory standards with all new correct original pattern materials inside and out. All gauges and chromed pieces are as new. The under das area is also as new with all the components such as wiring, cables, lamp, insulation, etc. restored or replaced with quality new exact reproduction parts. Exterior: Paint is restored to show standards showing no thick buildup of old paint because of complete stripping of the entire car of paint and the trim prior to regal coating and painting. The paint was then buffed to a hgh luster. The chrome trim front, rear and sides have all been replated or new and are in perfect condition. The body is a " no hit " body and all panels fit nicely. Under Carriage: The frame is in new condition painted the correct semi-gloss black withe all new and rebuilt parts that show correct. This includes everything from exaust systems to bearings, bushings, springs and cables. Engine and Drivetrain: This car is a late in production car with the highest rated 265 c.i. engine with Duntov solid lifter cam and 2 four barrel carburetors (very important). Here in is the correctness of these items in the engine. The carbs, intake, cylinder heads, engine block, exaust manifolds, water pump, fuel pump, starter, transmission and rear end are all the correct in number and dates in relation to the car. In other words the term numbers matching applies to all the components of the car not just the engine block .
