This Jeep has been totally restored. Questions have come up about the mileage and title report. Let me explain...The Vin# shows this CJ has a 6cyl. It now has an 8cyl. When this Jeep was restored, the previous owner replaced all of the gauges. So the odometer now shows approx. 5100 miles. Therefore, that is why the Autocheck shows discrepencies. It has absolutely no bearing on registering this vehicle. The rebuilt engine has approximately 5100 miles on it. Runs Awesome, Sounds Awesome, Headers. No rust, paint looks great. Inside was totally sandblasted and sprayed with Line-X (same as Rhino Liner but better) Seats were taken out of the Jeep while it was being sandblasted. They were taken to a custom upholstery shop. Everything works. The only gauge that doesn't work well is the fuel gauge. It works fine until it reaches half full. At that point, I just fill it back up. The previous owner had this vehicle taken to have it completely serviced. His approach to the service center was this, "I want you to treat this vehicle as if it was your daughters"....meaning fix ANYTHING in question, i.e. belts, brakes, rotors, u-joints, front and rear pinion seals, steering gear box, ball joints, exhaust, etc. The list goes on!! In addition, he purchased new Bestop Sport Bar Covers, Bikini Top, Tuffy Security Console w/Locked Stereo, Powder Coated Diamond Plate Warrior Dash Board, Rugged Ridge Side Steps, Marine Radio with MP3 hook up, etc. The tires have only a couple of thousand miles on them. The MATCHING spare AND rim are brand new. This Jeep got used by the previous owner the very same as I have used it......for enjoyment. I drive it to and from the golf course, as well as weekend rides. It stays in the garage. I DO NOT 4 wheel with it, and I DO NOT drive it in the winter. The ONLY reason I am selling is because of college tuitions. I am having to re-adjust my priorities. There is $18,000 invested in this vehicle. Please don't waste my time and yours with ridiculous offers. This vehicle is worth far more than my Buy It Now price. My Jeep has a bikini top ONLY. Tops can be purchased for under $1000 Added note: This Jeep has absolutely nothing to hide. No Diamond Plating on the sides to "cover up rust". When I view the other listings, there is no comparison to my Jeep. This Jeep "turns heads"
