Ford Excursion 7.3 Diesel 4x4 for sale with Bio-Diesel system! This is the extremely rare and hard to find vehicle with the 7.3 engine (best diesel that Ford built) that in the words of the salesman at one dealer I pulled into to get new shocks installed said, "you are sitting on a gold mine do you want to sell your vehicle?" Please note that I have reduced the price $1,450 (from $19,450 the original price) on the buy it now, since the original auction, this is a No reserve auction (with my bottom dollar starting price and is the last time it will be on ebay). I would be willing to drive the 4 1/2 hours to Ohare, 4 hours to Minneapolis, or 5 to Kansas City airports if someone wanted to fly in and pick up the vehicle. (After the vehicle has been paid for) I just added a picture of the computer device that controls the bio diesel part I should have done that originally, the computer is off at the time of picture, it does work and function properly, I just took the picture with the engine off. All of the controls and buttons, including lights work that I have just checked on. There where two previous owners one lived in south Oklahoma and then moved to Texas, (no harsh winters)and had the vehicle until 128,000 miles. The second installed the bio diesel conversion kit that cost almost $4,000 so the truck can run off bio diesels, and veggie oil, and has two tanks. USING THE VEGGIE OIL AS A FUEL, A PERSON CAN VIRTUALLY RUN THIS VEHICLE FOR FREE IF THEY HAVE A SOURCE TO GET THEIR OIL FROM!!!!! The bio diesel system works and operates by either a manual turn on or automatically, with an override feature. There are three fuel filters on the truck which help ensure absolutely no foreign substances from the diesel or veggie oil going through the system. The previous owner also pre filtered his veggie oil at home before actually putting it into his fuel tank. The engine and transmission are a 100% and run excellent on the vehicle with no problems. The tires have just under twenty thousand miles on them and are two years old, they are 50,000-60,000 mile tires. The tires and rims are the one on the close up picture by its self, because these tires had a lot more tread on them that is why the tires and rims where swapped, to give you a better tire. The other tires in the far away picture were wore out. Here is a list of the recent services and items I have changed: At 156,150 miles I changed:The totals for what I had done totaled $703.93 (Most of which I did myself) Oil (Shell Rotella) Air FilterInstalled new Monroe Heavy Duty Shocks on.Installed new running board mount and light.Carpet/ Upholstrey Cleaned Approximently 200 miles later I had new sway bar bushings installed.(The dealer checked the ball joints and tie rods, this is a common problem with Ford vehicles, having loose ball joints, and they said that the tie rods and joints where fine, but the bushings needed replaced) Now its fine except if you hit a heavy bump it rattles a little bit, on the driver side. The only other items is that the driver seat has a small 3 inch seperation in the edge of the seat at the seams (common for the drivers seat), was told it could be fixed for around $70, there are a few scratches and small dings, which also could be fixed for minimal cost. Overall the vehicle is a "Built to Last " (Ford Motto), dependable, versatile, roomy excellent vehicle etc.. and It will run for many more miles. (In fact my Father has a 2003 F-350 that has the same 7.3 engine and it has over 380,000 miles on it and hasn't had to do a thing to either the engine or transmission. He has pulled heavy, heavy items all over in exteme conditions as far North as freezing cold northern Alaska and as far south as our far South hot states. ) The vehicle has clear title in hand and car fax and has not been in any accidents.
