Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car for about ten years, and have only driven it about 300 miles. This was a little old lady car. It has 27,000 original miles, with original paint. It was a 6 banger with a three speed on column, no power steering, no power brakes. It's few options were AM radio, vinyl top, and maybe the hounds tooth interior. I bought a 73 Nova parts car with a 350 and automatic, and changed out the steering column, gas tank sending unit, motor mounts, radiator shroud, tansmission linkage, and brake pedals. I installed a rebuilt 383 engine, a 12 bolt rear end and a 350 turbo tranny. Everything works as if it came this way from the factory. You cannot build this car for my reserve ( which I'm not telling). I will list some of the parts used below. I did not use cheap stuff on this car. The body of this car is straight and nothing is being hid with a coat of paint or primer. It does need body work and paint, but is still very solid. The under side is very nice with no rust holes and very little scale. The interior is in very nice shape with exception of the headliner, which needs replaced. All idiot lights work, as well as all lights, speedometer, and horn. The radio is not working. All glass is good. The car is nice and tight with no rattles. Parts $ 383 engine has a four bolt block, ballanced assembly with Eagle crank and rods, and keith Black pistons. 10 to 1 compression, Dart Sportsman Heads that have been pocket ported. Roller rockers, Eldebrock hydralic cam, and Victor Juinor intake, with a Holley 750 on top. Mallery Electronic distributer and new wires. Hooker Headers ceramic coated. New 2-1/2" exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. This motor has a lopey idle, holds good oil pressure, stays cool, and sounds strong. The Tranny has been freshly rebuilt with a B & M Hole Shot converter. The rear end is an all rebuilt 12 bolt with Moser axles, C-clip eliminators, 1/2" studs, posi unit with new 4:11 gears, and all new bearings. New leaf springs and new shocks front and rear. New brake hard and soft lines. Other new items include; Edelbrock Water pump, new radiator, Morroso 7 quart oil pan, Holley electric fuel pump and regulator, traction bars, and a chrome instrument display under dash. This car is loacated near Wabash Indiana and you are welcome to inspect it by appointment. I would like a $250.00 down payment within 48 hours of end of auction. Balance to be paid in seven days. Car will not leave my property untill check clears. Shipping not included but will be able to help with your shipper. I have bought and sold a few cars here on Ebay and I have tried to desribe this one honestly. I am not a dealer, just an old car guy. Please call or email any questions. I do not have to sell this car, my wife would say otherwise, (she thinks new kitchen cabinets are more inportant) but do need room in my shop for other projects. I normally have 5 or 6 vehicles at any one time and always think I need another. I won't have time to finish them all so I have chosen to sell this car. I'm sure that your Pinto Low Rider is killer, but I am not interested in trades, UNLESS you have a 55 Chevy Del Ray ( preferr white or black) that I could trade up or down on. Thanks for looking.
