This vehicle is an original numbers matching vehicle that is correct besides,carburetor and shifter and wheels.Ido have all of the original rallys.This vehicle did not come with the ss wheels it has on it.This vehicle was garaged for thirty years from 1974 to 2004 when i purchased it from the original owner which was a friend of mine that i worked for in his service station in the 1970'S.He had severe MS for 30 years and passed away in 2009.It is hard for me to sell this vehicle,but i really do not use it.I purchased it with 30,533 miles.This vehicle has 70 percent of its original paint.Driver side was repainted due to vehicle was keyed completely down driver side when 2 weeks old.Black was also repainted on bottom.Passenger fender also painted due to some scratches.There is some mismatch due to touch up but looks very nice.There are various other blemishes in paint,but again 40 years old.Car is extremely solid.the only thing he did to this vehicle was replace the carburetor and original muncie shifter to a hurst due to linkage problems with the muncie sifter which were common then.He Mounted wider tires on the original rear rallys and clearanced the wheel well lip very slightly.(about an 1/8 inch) Not very noticable.Vinyl top is in perfect condition and no signs of rust or bubbling.Also no rust in dash area at winshield.Vehicle has no leaks.There is some pitting of trim and bumpers due to the first few years the vehicle was parked in a car port during winter.There is a ding in rear bumper.The interior is original and beautiful with strato buckets,full gauges in console and tach in dash.Everything works including clock.Only damage in interior is a two inch crease in vinyl drivers seat back portion on left side.It has not become a rip yet and is not very noticable.Also has a working am-8 track.and four original speakers.Now lets get down to what i have done to vehicle.I went through this vehicle mechanically due to being parked for 30 years.I installed new bearings,rings,gaskets in engine.Also had valve grind and new valve seals.Installed new bearings and seals in differential which has a 3.31 ring and pinion.Also installed new bearings and synchronizers in transmission.It did not need these bearings but my thought was it was sitting for thirty years and i did not want any trouble.Rebuilt the entire brake system but did not replace components to keep originality.Installed correct entire exhaust from gardner exhaust $900.00.Installed ss wheels and radial tires for handling.This car is very quiet and is the tightest and best driving muscle car i have ever driven.Engine is a 300 horsepower 350.Being it is a super sport the differential is a 12 bolt and transmission is an M-20.The underneath of this vehicle is also clean,slight surface rust no pitting.I have the owners manual,window sticker,dealer order/option form and original bank paper work. On Aug-05-10 at 19:19:37 PDT, seller added the following information: I included two pictures of the underneath.I would have included more,but hit the 24 picture limit.I had also taken pictures of all the paper work with vehicle.All brake lines are original and solid.Someone asked if it was undercoated.I said no and i still feel it falls in that catagory,due to it has the slightest dusting of possible undercoating on only the rear footwells-strange.Another slight dusting on inside small section on rear quarters.These areas are very,very slight.I hope he did not pay for any,because he surely did not get much.
