The vehicle is an original owner car, purchased new at Holman Lincoln/Mercury in Pompano Beach, FL in the fall of 1999. The vehicle is a single driver vehicle, driven less than 8,000 miles per year on average. It was serviced almost exclusively at the dealer since new. Condition of Vehicle: The vehicle has an aftermarket alarm that comes with two key fobs that open/lock the doors. The battery in one of the two fobs is bad and in need of a new battery. The second fob works perfect. The car comes with the two original keys. The tires are all newer Michelin tires in the same size as the original factory tires. See the pictures for the condition. One is almost new and the other three are still in great shape. These are quality tires. The car drives straight and still has a lot of life left to it. Acceleration is strong, brakes are good and it drives just like a Grand Marquis should with light steering and a smooth, quiet ride.This vehicle has never been in a crash other than the minor scrapes depicted in the photos. No structural damage has ever happened so it is a solid, safe vehicle. The Air Conditioning works great and all the power accessories work fine. The right front window is not working correctly though - there is a receipt from Holman Mercury that shows they fixed it once. Not sure why their fix didn't stay fixed but perhaps they can look at it again when given the receipt from the prior work. You can see from the photos that the driver's side rear bumper trim came loose. Someone bumped into it in a parking lot and the chrome trim came loose. It can be re-stuck with some 3M tape and a few minutes of time. You can also see from the photos that someone else scraped down the passenger's side with a bumper or something. Most of the scrape is superficial but there is metal crease in the rear wheel well arch. See the photos for this detail. The vehicle would benefit from a thorough detail and wax. This was not done prior to the sale so that any potential bidder would get to see the vehicle in its actual state of condition - not a sanitized, pressure cleaned, look with the Armor All on the hoses and belts that dealers love to do. The interior is clean and in great condition for a vehicle of its year and miles. The headlights have a hazy appearance that is common to the composite lamps but can be cleaned.
