Vehicle Detail

OK, I am re-listing this car on EBAY. This car is AS-IS, No Warranty. It is also being sold locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally. Please do not bid or do not use the buy-it-now option unless you intend to purchase the auto. It is a good car in need of some restoration. I am selling my 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V as I have no room for it at my new house as you will see in the photos. It is a great car and was listed on eBay a few months ago but fell just short of the reserve price on 2 auctions at just under $11000. I have lowered the reserve price significantly because I don't have the room and my family car (daily driver) was just hit by a drunk driver so I have to get it out of here and get a new car. It has power windows, including the back window which rolls down completely and is in working order, and it also has power front seats which also work. We have done some repairs on it in the last few months to eliminate a few of the existing problems. These include getting the back up lights, blinkers and brake lights all back and in working condition (new bulbs and new fuses was all it needed). The CD player that is located in the glove compartment is also working now as we installed an in-line fuse and ran it directly to the car battery. We also installed a kill switch for the car. It has a V-8, 429 engine which starts very easily, even after it had been sitting for over a month. The exterior of the car is in good condition but the interior is virtually immaculate for its age. There is one small split where the seam of the headliner is but other than that everything is great. We are still working on getting the original radio and clock as they have not worked in quite a while according to the previous owner. The tires are whitewall and in great condition. It also has the original hubcaps which are also in great condition. Please forgive the photos as I didn't get to polish all the chrome and clean off the tires yet. Please rescue this car from the fog of the SF Bay Area as this could use a full time garage to keep it in good condition. I simply don't have the space anymore for it as construction will be occurring on my street starting on August 9th and I need the car out ASAP. According to the NADA guide this car's average retail price value should be around $9400 so I have taken $2400 off this and priced it for buy-it-now at $7000. Thanks and just email any questions.
