I am selling my 1972 VW Beetle. I have had this car for a couple of years and am now wanting a Jeep and decided that 3 vehicles is too many to have. It is a good car. I have drove it back and forth to work and have made some trips in it about an hour away. The Bug drives good. It doesn't pull to the side, brakes are good, and engine runs smoothly. Have had at 70mph on the interstate and had no problems. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt, had an aftermarket oil filter kit put on and completely redid the brake system. It has disc brakes on the front and the tires have about 1000 miles on them. The transmission and clutch work good. The transmission doesn't jump out of reverse like some I've seen. The rubber seals on the windows have been replaced. The paint is in decent shape, though there is a little rust in a couple of places. The floor pans have been replaced. It has an electronic ignition with an 009 distributor. The interior is pretty good, but the headliner needs to be fixed where it is pulling away by the back window. It doesn't have any tears or cracks in it. It is missing the front bumper. As seen in the picture it has an aftermarket kit on it that has the spoiler and ground effects. The front bumper was fiberglass and the neighbors dog took care of it for me. I do have the bumper if someone wants it, but it will take some repairing. I was going to replace it with a chrome bumper or the chrome T-Bars. It has a single disc CD player in it. Also missing drivers side mirror.
