BEREA COLLEGE SURPLUS PROPERTY SALES This sale is being conducted for the purpose of disposing of surplus property no longer useful to BEREA COLLEGE. Property is sold as-is and where is. This 1981 Volkswagon Rabbit Diesel Truck was used by Berea College for demonstration purposes as an instructional tool for Sustainability and Environmental Studies students. It was converted to run on vegetable oil and was driven by a professor in sustainability studies for about two years until his departure a couple of years ago. It was last started in April 2010, but has not been driven in over a year. Mileage is estimated, as the odometer is not functioning. Needs transmission. Interior has some damage (see photo of tear in headliner), would look much better with a good cleaning. Outside door handle on passenger side missing. No glass breakage or cracks.
