Vehicle Detail
1973 Camaro Project Car, No time to complete! Wife and I decided to let it go. Car is a 1975 Chevy Camaro that was being converting to a 1973 body style. New rear panel, trunk lid, and right rear quarter panel sheet metal from Goodmark Industries. Interior needs complete refinishing. Exterior still needs work. Have all of the original parts that came with the car and all original documentation as well. Have upper and lower valence panel for front end (non-RS) and F/R bumpers. 1 gallon of Viper Red ($$) paint, clear coat, and reducer will also be included in this lot. Engine is a Rebuilt 355 Chevy that runs strong, Block# 3970014, roller rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM Heads (ported and polished), Melling Oil Pump, Jegs 8 qrt Oil Pan, New Flex Plate, Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold, Edelbrock Carburetor (PN: XX-XXXX), MSD Billet Distributor, MSD 6AL Control Box, Jegs Headers, New Water Pump, New Starter, New Alternator, Billet pulleys. New 2,800 stall converter, Turbo 350 transmission professionally rebuilt in Apr, 2010 (O miles on converter and trans) with Trans-go shift kit. Sub frame has all new Energy Suspension Urethane bushings (red), new Eibach lowering springs, new upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, drag and link. Rear Tires are brand new Mickey Thompson Indy Profile N50-15’s on New Jegs 10 inch aluminum rims. Sub-frame could simply be unbolted and installed in another vehicle easily and you’re ready to go, or you could complete the project and have a very fun car to drive. They are not making them anymore and getting harder to find. I don’t want to part it out, but I will if it does not sell. Shipping is not being offered in this posting for obvious reasons and the vehicle will have to be picked up as it is not currently roadworthy. Vehicle is being sold as-is and no warranty or guarantee is offered or assumed. This is a project vehicle and needs to be completed prior to operation on any road or highway. I have all original documentation; build sheet, and original sales contract. Also all original booklets that came with the vehicle. Please email me with any questions you may have.On Jul-27-10 at 15:31:59 PDT, seller added the following information:Have all original glass except for the windshield which broke upon removal. I will be posting more pictures shortly. On Jul-29-10 at 15:00:27 PDT, seller added the following information:Some of the questions that have been received: Do you have any interior with the car/dash: Seats F/R, console is old and needs replacement, no headliner, Steering column removed for painting but I have it, wiring in good shape for age, have original console shifter, no carpeting, needs all new plastic vents for defrost and venting outside air. Do you have the complete front end, nose, etc: I have the upper / lower front valence (1973 non-RS) Is the front-end 70-73/ not 74-81? Front panel / valence and bumper is for a 1973. I no longer have the 1975 (ridiculuosly heavy) front end and bumper Do you have a free and clear title? A bill of sale will be provided to the winner. I have the title and bill of sale that I received from the original owner and will provide a bill of sale to the winner. No title required for vehicles older than 1985 in GA. Where are you in GA? Warner Robins What do I need for drive train to finish? As I stated in the description, the transmission was rebuilt and has a new 2,800 rpm stall converter (0 miles on both-new). I will be installing the driveshaft into the vehicle this weekend. The vehicle is not drivable in its current condition as it has no brakelines (new black powdercoated brakelines will go with the vehicle) and the steering column has been removed for paint but will be provided. FYI-If the subframe were to installed into another 70-78 Camaro with the transmission, you would hook up the shift linkage, trans cooler lines to the radiator, driveshaft complete filling of transmission fluid and you'd be ready to go. We have tried to show everything possible about this vehicle as we are very honest people as you can see from my feedback. If you are not skilled in body work and mechanically inclined, do not bid on this project as it still needs a great deal of work and sweat to complete. We have put a great deal of time and money into this project and are looking to recover some of the money we have spent. We hope we this answers all of your questions. Happy bidding!
