You are bidding on a 1987 Honda VFR 700 Interceptor. Bike is in used condition and adult ridden. There are the typical minor flaws and scratches in painted finishes, but is very respectable for a 24year old bike. There are three minor dents in the gas tank on the left side from the prior owner dropping the bike shown in the photos. The bike has a 4 in to 2 into 1 Yoshi exhaust system, brand new tires with about 150 miles with a O ring chain and sprockets. The has not been riden but three times in the last 2 years, so standard maintainace will be needed prior to any long trips... oil, filter, fluid checks, battery etc.. The bike was rode this week and operated flawlessly as usual. The choke cable does need adjustment, but doesn't affect the way the bike runs. The bike has been stored on the Pitbull stands for the entire 5years I have owned the bike and stored inside under cover. The Pitbull stands and Covermax cover will be sold as a seperate item but will be offered to the buyer first. Additional parts inclued with the bike are the original owners maintaince manual, a cobalt racing passanger seat cover and bumper and the original signals that were swithed out with the smoked lockhart phillips signals, and a new set of handgrips that I never got around to putting on. It has a clean title. The motor is a 700cc DOHC - 4 valve, liquid cooled v-4 linked with gear driven cams. Transmission opeates flawlessly as well as the bikes handling. This bike is original and almost all body parts are in great condition but make no mistake this is a used bike and some flaws will be found with intence inspection. The seat is also in excelent condition. An expaned family is the only reason the bike has not been ridded much over the last couple of years and I am not wanting to see it go, but more harm is done by letting good bikes sit in the garage.
