One of the car starting cold with a walk around video. The second is a test drive around the block. Be sure to watch the videos! The car runs and drives. New Carb and fuel lines got it going! It's hard to believe, but after sitting for some umpteen years the car starts right up, doesn't smoke or make any funny noises when running. Starts on the first turn of the starter, no smoke or blow bye. Shifts gears smoothly steers nice and tracks straight. Power steering works great, no play in the steering, Idles smoothly, does not seem to be overheating, shifts gears normal. It still needs brake work, and a fuel tank. I took the tank to have it cleaned but they said it had too much sediment in the bottom of the tank to be cleaned. I reinstalled the original tank, and ran the fuel line into the trunk to a gas can so the car could be test driven. I will leave the car this way to make it easy for shipping or pick up. The fuel tanks are on e-bay for about $300.00 It also has a bad oil leak from both sides of the oil pan, looks like the gasket let go and it will leak oil after shutting off the engine. The brakes seem to be a bit sticky like they don't let go after you let off the pedal right away, (short hesitation). other then that the car seems to be in working order. See my original listing below. This is a very rare find, a 1972 one owner un touched time capsule that just needs to be restored. It’s a factory Big Block car! Rare of the Rare!!! Here we have a 1972 Ford Grand Torino Sport with a 429 4v Big Block engine, C6 transmission and a 2.75:1 Locking rear Axle. The car came well optioned from the factory with A/C, Full Console, Magnum 500s and matching spare, high back bucket seats, tachometer, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Laser Stripes, and more. This car was a one owner car until last year. The car has been sitting for approximately 10 or so years before that. The body is all original with mostly original paint and laser stripes. There were two areas that have been repaired by the original owner and repainted due to transporter damages back from when he was in the air force. Those areas are the driver’s fender and door and pass fender. As far as rust goes, I think the body is pretty solid except for the rear left quarter panel behind the rear wheel. When the car was sitting, it was on a slope and this spot was in the grass causing it to hold moisture. The floors are pretty solid from underneath the car but do have some soft spots coming through and would need to be replaced or patched at the foot boards. The trunk floor has a lot of surface rust that I think could be blasted out. There may be some small patches needed to make it perfect but it’s not bad. The bad news is the hood, trunk lid, and both doors look shot. The bracing has rusted through from the trunk lid and the hood, I don't think Ford put any primer on the inside of the braces, otherwise they are great. It’s a shame. The doors have rust on the inside corners, I think it would be easier to replace them then to try to repair them. The fenders look okay, there is a little damage repair on both of them but not bad. I would reuse them. Inner fenders look marginal with some surface rust and pitting. The radiator support and frame look fine with surface rust only no pits. The battery tray has rusted through but not into the frame. The interior is all there. All of the wiring is original and un cut or spliced. There is a cobra CB wired into the car but it looks professional and can be removed easily enough. All the wiring seems to be soft and pliable. The console, seats, seat belts, gauges, A/C controls, is all intact and looks to be in very good condition. Everything is complete and original. WOW! This car came with a Tachometer, clock, and full set of gauges. The engine is complete and un touched, The intake, Carb, emissions equipment is all intact. It still has the original Motor Craft tea kettle style Carb on it. The A/C system is still intact. All the wiring is original and un-spliced and still soft. The air cleaner, valve covers are original… It’s all there! All original parts that have been removed will be boxed and placed in the car for shipping. This car will be sold on a bill of sale, Georgia State Law states all cars older than 1985 can be sold this way and they will not issue titles for vehicles unless you have a GA title in hand made out to your name. I have and will include a New Mexico title with the car, dated from 1987 that was made out to someone who never titled/purchased the vehicle. With a bill of sale and a copy of Georgia State legislation you should not have any trouble getting a clear title from your state. (This is pretty common). The car runs and drives. New Carb and fuel lines got it going! It's hard to believe, but after sitting for some umpteen years the car starts right up, doesn't smoke or make any funny noises when running. Starts on the first turn of the starter, no smoke or blow bye. Shifts gears smoothly steers nice and tracks straight. Power steering works great, no play in the steering, Idles smoothly, does not seem to be overheating, shifts gears normal. It still needs brake work, and a fuel tank. I took the tank to have it cleaned but they said it had too much sediment in the bottom of the tank to be cleaned. I reinstalled the original tank, and ran the fuel line into the trunk to a gas can so the car could be test driven. I will leave the car this way to make it easy for shipping or pick up. The fuel tanks are on e-bay for about $300.00 It also has a bad oil leak from both sides of the oil pan, looks like the gasket let go and it will leak oil after shutting off the engine. The brakes seem to be a bit sticky like they don't let go after you let off the pedal right away, (short hesitation). other then that the car seems to be in working order.

This is a very rare find, a 1972 one owner un touched time capsule that just needs to be restored.
It’s a factory Big Block car! Rare of the Rare!!!
Here we have a 1972 Ford Grand Torino Sport with a 429 4v Big Block engine, C6 transmission and a 2.75:1 Locking rear Axle. The car came well optioned from the factory with A/C, Full Console, Magnum 500s and matching spare, high back bucket seats, tachometer, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Laser Stripes, and more.
This car was a one owner car until last year. The car has been sitting for approximately 10 or so years before that.
The body is all original with mostly original paint and laser stripes. There were two areas that have been repaired by the original owner and repainted due to transporter damages back from when he was in the air force. Those areas are the driver’s fender and door and pass fender. As far as rust goes, I think the body is pretty solid except for the rear left quarter panel behind the rear wheel. When the car was sitting, it was on a slope and this spot was in the grass causing it to hold moisture. The floors are pretty solid from underneath the car but do have some soft spots coming through and would need to be replaced or patched at the foot boards. The trunk floor has a lot of surface rust that I think could be blasted out. There may be some small patches needed to make it perfect but it’s not bad. The bad news is the hood, trunk lid, and both doors look shot. The bracing has rusted through from the trunk lid and the hood, I don't think Ford put any primer on the inside of the braces, otherwise they are great. It’s a shame. The doors have rust on the inside corners, I think it would be easier to replace them then to try to repair them. The fenders look okay, there is a little damage repair on both of them but not bad. I would reuse them. Inner fenders look marginal with some surface rust and pitting. The radiator support and frame look fine with surface rust only no pits. The battery tray has rusted through but not into the frame.
The interior is all there. All of the wiring is original and un cut or spliced. There is a cobra CB wired into the car but it looks professional and can be removed easily enough. All the wiring seems to be soft and pliable. The console, seats, seat belts, gauges, A/C controls, is all intact and looks to be in very good condition. Everything is complete and original. WOW!
This car came with a Tachometer, clock, and full set of gauges.
The engine is complete and un touched, The intake, Carb, emissions equipment is all intact. It still has the original Motor Craft tea kettle style Carb on it. The A/C system is still intact. All the wiring is original and un-spliced and still soft. The air cleaner, valve covers are original… It’s all there! All original parts that have been removed will be boxed and placed in the car for shipping.
This car will be sold on a bill of sale, Georgia State Law states all cars older than 1985 can be sold this way and they will not issue titles for vehicles unless you have a GA title in hand made out to your name. I have and will include a New Mexico title with the car, dated from 1987 that was made out to someone who never titled/purchased the vehicle. With a bill of sale and a copy of Georgia State legislation you should not have any trouble getting a clear title from your state. (This is pretty common).
