2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, 4.0, auto, 21K original miles! I am selling my son’s super nice 2005 Wrangler Unlimited, 4x4, 4.0 liter, 4 speed automatic. We bought this Jeep in May, 2007 with less than 1,800 miles on it. It had never been in the rain at that time. I am a private owner car enthusiast (okay, car freak) and keep my vehicles immaculate. Almost always, the first person to look at anything I sell buys it. The Excellent Aspects: Super, super clean TJ series Jeep Currently 21,450 miles (increasing slightly, as I drive this on the weekends). Never off roaded. Never and it shows! Unlimited series which is the longer wheel base – more storage behind rear seat and better ride 6 cylinder, 4.0 liter Factory 4 speed automatic with locking torque converter Ice Cold, factory A/C Factory driving lights Power steering Factory tilt steering wheel Factory variable intermittent wipers Factory cruise control Factory AM/FM, 4 CD player Factory Leather Wrapped Tilt Steering Wheel Factory Sport Bar with full padding Factory Sound Bar (speakers on roll bar) Factory full doors and glass windows (a real plus) Factory full length floor console Factory transfer case skid plate Pro Comp 4” Lift Kit Pro Comp MX2 Monotube Remote Reservoir Shocks – all four shocks Moto Metal Wheels 325 x 60 x R18 Nitto Terra Grappler Tires. 11/32” or 12/32” remaining all the way around on all four tires. I’d estimate 50% tread remaining on the Nitto tires (they have worn great – no abnormal wear). The vehicle had a complete 4 wheel alignment with installation of the lift kit. Gorilla lug nut locks on all four Moto Metal wheels Westin Platinum Series Nerf Bars (these are 18 gauge, polished, 304 stainless steel with a life time warranty). Expensive!!! Still covered under Chrysler 7 year, 70,000 mile extended powertrain warranty. Note: I do not believe this is transferable to the third owner. I have original build sheet listing all factory options Set-up to be pulled by a motorhome (has front light hook-up, diodes in light wiring and tow bar brackets – no tow bar - I could not talk original owner out of it) All service records, oil change records, and gas receipts since 1,800 miles. Never wrecked, never abused, clean CarFax report. Tight steering, tight chassis, no squeaks, rattles, wind noise (other than convertible top), etc. This is one tight Jeep. This Jeep turns heads and looks super sharp! Multiple compliments wherever it goes. It’s the right height, right tire/rim size and the chrome really sets it off. Clear Texas title in my name ready to be singed over to YOU! No liens. Current Texas safety and emissions inspection. Just done. Valid through end of June, 2011. Factory Jeep lined cover for side and rear windows Complete owner’s manuals, warranty lit, etc., in factory Jeep denim cover. Two factory keys plus one spare key. Original Goodyear spare tire never on the ground. Of course, never smoked in. Delivery possible within Texas or nearby for the right $$. I will carefully trailer it to you myself. The Not Quite Perfect, but Darn Close Aspects: I bought this vehicle for my son to use at college. He was very careful with it and always parked far away in a remote, end parking spot. Unfortunately, his college was in Boston, MA This vehicle has spent three winters in Boston, MA. There is absolutely no body or frame rust, however if you are a car freak like me, you will notice surface rust on exposed bolts, exhaust pipe, and non-painted areas underneath. Once again, nothing major at all, I just believe in being honest. If in doubt, I will send you close-up detailed pics. The road salt has slightly pitted the Moto Metal wheels in between the openings. The wheels still look great, but if you look close, you will see the pitting. The majority of the 21K miles are highway miles driving from Dallas to Boston and 100 miles per day in Mass for a Summer college internship. Will be due for an oil/filter, and lube job in about 500 miles. We have always changed the oil no further than 3,000 miles. Buy it now and I will do this for you, no charge. I am driving this occasionally, so the mileage will slightly increase until sold. It turns heads and is fun to drive. There are a few slight scratches on the paint – most were on it when we bought it. The factory stereo and sound bar are nothing to brag about. Compared to aftermarket systems with amps and subs – forget it. Runs great, but I will tell you in overdrive with the large tires and 3.73 gears, at 55 mph, it could use more power up hills. Push the factory button to over-ride overdrive and there is no issue at all. Run it up to 65 or 70 and the power increases, as the engine is nearer to its optimum torque curve. Plastic rear side and back windows beginning to glaze. It’s a rough ride, due to the lift kit, ProComp shocks, and we run 40 psi in the Nitto’s. This is a great kid vehicle, but Gramma will loose her teeth. Grampa may need Depends. It sits up high. If you need a scooter at WalMart, then forget this vehicle. Hit a bump hard enough and the CD player will skip a little. It still has the original battery which is about 5 years old. Although it cranks fine, if I were to keep it, I would eventually replace the battery. Great graduation present or a super grocery getter for that Hot Mom. Additional pictures available upon request. No joy rides. No tire kickers. Please don’t waist my time and I won’t waist your time. I will be riding along for all test drives. Plates and registration will be removed during purchase per the new Texas procedure. Payment in full, I will not finance. Checks must clear first, you know the usual. I will also consider trades for a high end, high quality, 12,000+ GVWR, enclosed 28’+ race car trailer, 18'+ Boston Whaler Outrage, 32’ Sea Ray Pachanga (with 454 Mercs), military vehicles including tracked tanks, APC’s, half tracks, military trailers especially flat bed, drop deck, RGN’s, 45’+ Sea Ray, 43’+ Tiara or other interesting trades.
