Vehicle Detail
. 1957 Chevy Bel Air Up for auction is my custom 1957 Chevy Bel Air - "All Shook Up" The car was meticulously built inside and out to be nothing but a head turner. I am not the original owner, near as I can tell I am the third owner of the car. There was easily $30,000 plus put into this car. I have the build book that shows where it started and how it came to look the way it does today. My best guess puts the start of the build in the early 90s, and I would bet it was finished some time around then. The engine and the build has less than 13,000 miles on it. Under the hood is a small block 350 crate motor that runs smooth. The manual transmission (four on the floor) shifts without any trouble. The inside is a nice custom 2 seat setup. The suspension has air-assisted shocks in the rear (Monroe ma700), and it rides smooth. In the trunk is a 22 gallon fuel cell. The car has a fresh oil change and runs like a dream. The undercarriage is clean and shows the detail of the work that was put into this car. No signs of rust anywhere. The primary contributor to the price is going to be the paint. The custom paint job shows its years. It is bubbling in a few places and has some chips. Overall, I would rate the paint at about a 6 on a ten scale. It still looks great, but would need some work to show the car. Also, the passenger window is cracked. It does not leak, but is cracked (spidered...some one slammed the door shut with the window rolled down). With $30,000 and all the work put into it... you can get a new toy at a steal. The title is free and clear (not a reconstructed or modified brand). Plenty of photos available! ***Bid today and SAVE BIG!*** Terms of Sale I accept Cashier's Check, Personal Check, Wire Transfer and Cash.
