Hi there! Up for bid is my 1973 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. It has 63,045 original miles and runs and sounds like a champ. I have to part with her because I really could use the money to help pay for school tuition. This is a great Caddy and needs a good loving home - it'll make the new owner very happy! I bought this car from the second owner in Louisville, KY through Ebay about a year ago. The previous owner states that this car was stored for 15 years until recently brought back to the open roads. The low mileage, awesome running engine, great looking interior, and rust free body,frame, and pans all seem to be proof of this. The car runs very well and has plenty of power coming out of its 472 cu in engine and turbo 400 trans. Also, this car brakes great for such a large vehicle. The previous owner did much work to this car such as new brakes, new plugs and wires, rotor and points, had transmission rebuilt, installed new dual exhaust and glass packs. This car has a nice deep throaty sound as it glides down the road - gets lots of "thumbs up" and rubber neckers too! The paint on the vehicle is the original color as well as the vinyl top. The body has absolutely NO CANCER! The underside of the vehicle is also in amazing shape and is solid. There are however a few tiny spots of bubbling on the deck lid but they won 't even show in photos, only upon extreme scrutiny. The chrome is in nice shape with plenty of shine. The front bumper has a small patch of surface rust on it on the drivers side but it can be easily corrected. Also the bumper is missing an impact strip on the driver's side (shown in pictures). The tires have plenty of tread left and I think two of the tires are brand new. Car comes with all four original hubcaps. Car has factory air conditioning with Climate Control but AC doesn't blow cold. All lights inside and out work as well as all power options. The interior of the car is clean and features sweet 70's floral print brocade seats. The leather in the car is in good condition crack in the center of the back seat. The dash is free of cracks except for lower edge where it meets the poor panel (common on these cars). The headliner is also good. The previous owner hooked up a CD player and amp. Also the car has cables for the use of subs in the trunk. This stuff will come with the car. The original ash tray is there if you'd rather keep the car original. Since I have owned the car I have replaced the master cylinder, starter, alternator, and given the car oil and filter changes. has new air filter too. Records of all work and parts will come with car. I have not encountered any leaks since I've owned the car. I do remember it leaking a tiny bit of oil but since last oil change I have not seen any spots on my driveway. Also this car has just passed a PA state inspection and emissions test last month. There are a a few things this car could benefit from: The car's belts stated squealing and will need new belts or possibly re-tighten them. Also sometimes you have to press the gas pedal a few times when starting it. My mechanic advised that the car needs some adjustment but it doesn't stop me from enjoying it. The speedometer cable will need replaced - it's working now but sort of bobbing. My mechanic tells me this is indicative of a failing cable and should be replaced. Despite these small things this is a real nice summer cruiser and deserves a good home. For the condition the car is in and the price I want' this is a hell of a buy. I promise the winning bidder will be very pleased with the car!! I have a clear title in hand. Buyer to pay for and arrange shipment of vehicle.
