Hello. this is the auction for a powerful, work horse economic full size, dually wheeled rear wheel drive Ford 350 diesel truck. I had the truck for over two years and have always been amazed at the fact that everything in it worked. The ones whe owned Ford long base trucks would know. It has a car like ride and remarkable pull power. With 142 Thou miles it could be considered new for a diesel. I am also amazed at the economy with such huge size and power. Paperwork suggest it would make 16 miles per gallon diesel but I got more like 14 - 15 miles per gallon on the freeway. that is still half of what a gas truck of the same size would offer. REASON TO SELL: Too many vehicles, Having now several wagens and SUVs I found my regular haushold needs for a big bed truck is minimal. EXTERIOR: There are some rust discoloration in the front fender see pics. Also there are some indentation damages on the fiberglass rear fenders see pics.. I would say no more than what you would expect this age vehicles. I was initially going to fix them but later saw no reason. By the last check all lights were functioning. The tow package electrics are not tested. I would presume they would work since it was used by the time I bought it. TECHNICAL: Please understand my knowledge on the auto tecnic is at the level of a consumer nothing more. As far as I can tell. There is nothing wrong with the engine. It is starting upright and this also at cold weather. It is running smooth and there is no oil leak and no smoke. Transmission is changing smoothly with no hesitation or slip. I noticed no problems with it. I don't know the ratio specifications I would think it would be standart for this make . The breakes are perfect . the Steering is smooth and in perfect shape there is no pull to either side. There is a full tow system and hitch in place. The electric side of this package is not tested since I didn't have any use for that. Tires are in good shape. the front tires are new I replaced them and the rear ones are appearing little worn . The heating and the air conditioning is remarkable in function. The radia works but is it rather old fashion. There are two fuel tanks and the tanks and the drain pump are working in perfect condition. INTERIOR: There are no cracks or broken items or tears . The general look is good with the expected wear and fading on the cloth upholstery. There are some missing knobs on the rear door locks. I don't intend to replace them. Should be easy to replace though. In fact I never needed the replacement as the locks are powered. ( The power locks in Fords are known the switch to child safe mode and lock at times. This happened to me twice some folks disable the power locks I prefer to carry an extra key in my wallet for any case.) . I think the pictures are reasonably reliable for assessing the looks of the vehicle. NOTES: My work is out of town and at times limiting my response to email or phone. There may be a reasonable 1-2 day response delay in the handling of the auction. Delivery may also have such delay, Please understand and bid with knowledge of my limitations. On the other hand I am placing the reserve insanely low to speed the sell for the same reason that I am not home much and can not spend a lot of time with any of this. I hop you get the Truck..
