Once again, I expect this 'other makes' listing will lead to hundreds of views--sorry it is not a rare Bugatti for a give away price. Seriously, look at Mapquest to figure out where Galeton, CO is located. I get weary of insincere types who toss in an offer-even a low one-and then seem to have amnesia when their 'kidding' offer is accepted! I suspect the last Florida 'buyer' decided to learn where Colorado is and realized it would cost money to move the car nearly 2000 miles. However obvious, still relevant to what you want to 'invest' is a very rare car. Vintage DKW hardtop. I confess I don't know the exact year, but very similar to a 1957 I owned a few years back. Can't decipher the Fahrgestell-Nr. but no doubt this listing will elicit educated input. Helping a widow sell this car. The engine is apart, but that isn't unusual for the gas-oil engine that typically was seized up the first time the oil addition was overlooked. To focus on the positive, the windshield is good. This is very important as these are not easy to obtain. My 1957 which went down to Central America, amazingly enough, had a cracked one--got quotes starting at $800. for a replacement! The car has neat European style headlight lenses. The interior is dirty and tired, but the car looks decent in terms of steel. Stuff doesn't rust much out here due to the arid climate. Owner can provide a bill of sale. no title for this cutey. Her late husband had a rather impressive dollar opinion of this car.
